First Room: Rooms are in serious need of renovations. Alot of floor panels and walls are broken. Shower corner is molding, shower cabin door does not close properly so the whole bathroom swims in water (probably reason for molding). Air Conditioning is blowing musty air and seems like it has not been well maintained. It can hardly cool a room down so mostly it was like "sauna" in the hotel room with no air movement. This hotel is not really 4 stars atleast not by room standards. I have been in 2 star hotels that look more classy then this 4 star hotel. Hotel rooms seem to be missing kettle to do hot water too like many of the 2 star hotels have. So getting hot water to boil for coffee or tea was not possible. Shower was only place where i got hot water, the sink only gave cold water. For the price (700 eur 6 nights) its relatively cheap compared to other hotels around it but definetly not 4 stars.

Sadly you must watch you things with keen eyes in the room (keep them off the floor as much as possible) due to cockroaches roaming around. When i got room replaced by staff after reporting the roaches i dont think they did any extermination atleast we were not informed of it.

Second Room experience: Well the AC actually worked there - so thats a win and it did not blow moldy air in and could cool that room. Shower corners were still molding but shower door was working properly. The water heating was still an issue but did not discover any broken panels in that room (Pictures are taken from the first room). Toilet was semi-broken tho the tank did not want to hold water properly and required manual "repair" by me to actually hold water

Wi-fi did not work in all the rooms (based on the 2 i stayed in which were close to eachother) in the first room wi-fi signal was nonexistant. In the second room it was OK. During nights there was alot of screaming coming from park side which distubred the sleep even when balcony door was close. Not to mention loud motorcycles roaming around at night

I did not have any issue with Staff: Staff were friendly and helped when reporting things.

Hotel Location is good: Public transport is very close (bus and metro) and there is a big mall closeby.

Booked through Agoda - stayed for 3 Days.

GOOD Housekeeping was excellent and super clean. Room had all the basic amenities.

BAD Room was decent at first instance but as we slept through the night, three persistent problems came up: AC was not working even after turning it to the lowest temperature and highest fan. Mosquitoes - the hotel should do something about this as we were all super uncomfortable the entire night. Wifi was almost non-existent.

I’m giving this place a POOR review because we had a terrible encounter with one of the workers, Ali upon checking out our rooms. He wanted to charge us for some ‘city tax’ which we had already paid when we checked in. He insisted that we pay for it BUT scrapped it off after his colleague clarified and asserted with him that we had already done so. He wanted to charge us for the hot water from the cafeteria. However, he cancelled it when we told him that we were given permission to take the hot water from the cafeteria. The most unprofessional thing was how he immediately wanted to recharge us when we called him off for being rude and judgmental. Our remarks were accurate because prior to checking out, he rudely pointed his fingers at one of us and shouted that we were not supposed to take the hot water - all these without asking us whether we had permission. He kept insisting that we were the ones at fault because we went into the cafeteria before 7am (which we were not told about previously). Ali furthered went on to educate us about how the ‘red ribbons’ before the cafeteria meant that no one was allowed to enter and that this was an ‘international understanding’. We found that extremely condescending and insulting considering the situation. He told us that he is a ‘security officer’ and ‘responsible for the night at the hotel’ but he is working at the reception - from our entire encounter with him, it is obvious that he was not professionally trained in handling customers. Finally, he was very ill-mannered and did not apologise for the inconvenience and confusion caused.

Overall, a decent stay at this hotel but the staff, in particular was extremely rude - no customers should ever...

I'd suggest people to look for alternative options if possible. The rooms are ok - if you're lucky.||We stayed here for four nights. On our first night, the room had this really loud crackling sound coming from the exhaust pipe. (Room 317) I couldn't sleep with the noise so we requested a change the second day. When we came back that day, the night staff, Rafael said that they weren't notified that we requested a room change. She said she was new there and wasn't sure what to do and just asked us to wait. We waited for a good 15-20 mins for her colleague to return. Her colleague, Casafi, came down after settling another inquiry from another guest. He showed us to a three person room - where we were confused. He then brought us to another room and asked us if we were happy with the room. (Room 305) He showed us the window and mentioned that the windows can be opened. We were a bit puzzled - obviously we won't need to open the window, we are here to travel, most likely we will be out all day and will only be here at night and we will turn on the aircon. He left shortly. We then only realised that the shower room doesn't even have a door, and the aircon wasn't working, it's only blowing hot air and the room was very warm. We called the reception and he said he will come and have a look. We waited, for another 15-20 mins and nobody came. We called the reception again, and Casafi said a technician will come in 15-20 mins. It was close to midnight at that point and we were too tired. We slept under bad condition and were woken throughout as there were mosquitoes in the room! We think that the receptionist knew that the aircon wasn't working all along - that's why he showed us the windows initially, and lied to us that the technician was coming.||We were however, thankful for Edward, the morning staff at the time, who helped us change to a room where the aircon is working and we didn't face anymore issues after that.||The hotel is very far away from the city.||The breakfast was really good though!||Overall I'd recommend you to book other hotel if possible and leave this hotel as a...

Staff was pretty friendly but the rooms are in horrendous condition. Aside from being hotter than Hell, in the first room we got a panel in the ceiling RANDOMLY fell down and struck me in the head. Didn't touch it, didn't touch the wall, didn't close nor open a door, anything. Almost knocked me out and sliced my head open to which I bled quite a bit. Luckily not large enough to necessitate stitches, because that would've put a damper on our vacation (especially since we had a cruise the next morning). I have photos of my head and the bloody rag but I'll spare the gore because it was a descent amount. Staff gave cotton and rubbing alcohol, and changed us to a different room, but offered no upgrade or refund or anything else. Was a lot of fun having a massive headache for the rest of the day. The next room had a similar (larger) panel as well, so we were paranoid and would avoid standing under it as much as possible (which was hard since it was right above the sink). Other structures such as one of the elevators were very sketch. Mold in the shower of our second room. For €250 for 1 night, that is beyond ridiculous. But it's in Barcelona on a Saturday so why not I guess. In addition, my wife and I were/are riddled with bite marks all over our legs, back and arms. While I would blame possible bed bugs, the bites seem to be more akin to mosquito bites, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say we perhaps got attacked in the city or something. Pretty much the only reason this isn't a 1 star review. The location of the hotel is OK I guess; it's right in between the airport and downtown so not bad if you're using taxis, but there isn't much in the area of the hotel aside from an IKEA. We booked this hotel to try to save some money for our trip since all other hotels downtown were above 300 for that night, but I would recommend just spending the extra money for a, hopefully, more structurally sound building.
