Camping Lago Barasona — Hotel in La Puebla de Castro

Lago Barasona is a large, campsite in the Huesca region of Spain. Situated in a wooded, lakeside area, it caters for all kinds of campers with 180 pitches, some very large with shade and sun; that easily accommodate tents, caravans and motor-homes. In addition there are 40 cabins and 10 apartments so you could roll up without camping paraphernalia and still have a comfortable stay. There is in addition a hotel on the site as well. The practical facilities include three very well designed washrooms. The unisex cubicles have toilet, shower and washbasin all included. As well as adequate dish washing and clothes washing area. For entertainment, there are two swimming pools, a playground and a pelota court. They have a bar and restaurant so you don't have to cook if your not a barbecue fan. We've arrived just into the low season so it's very quiet and peaceful. However, there do seem to be adequate facilities for families as well as couples or individuals. Beautiful site, very clean, 2 beautiful swimming pools, good restaurant, lovely friendly staff and beautiful toilets / shower room , individual little bathrooms with everything in 1 room , you couldn't want for more. A special mention to the beautiful Maria on reception and the owner Lorenzo they , like everyone else there made us feel very welcome, we will definitely be going back In the various books you will see that the "supposed" best restaurant in the area is on the site next door, we ate there , terrible service, awful surroundings and couldn't care less - staff. The best place to eat if you are on this site , is the one on the site. A campsite where I finally got my rest! The places are very spacious, you can easily find the shade.

Sanitary facilities were great!! Spacious and clean clean!!

All personnel was really kind and helpful, reception, kids´ club, restaurant. Two different pools, so we could enjoy variety and the location at the lake is really nice.

The restaurant at the camp site is fantastic, fantastic tastes and good prices. The restaurant at the lake was a nice surprise, it is nice because of its location and atmosphere, but not really for the food. Small portions for the price you pay.

The price of the camping was a little expensive after a long summer in Spain and France at different campings. We paid 60€ per night for a family of four, while we were used to 40€ during our holiday. But absolutely worth the...
