If you are anywhere near this extremely beautiful part of Spain you must stay at this hotel to experience Spanish hospitality at it's BEST. ||Professional welcome, English and French spoken if needed. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, TV, excellent bathroom, lashings of hot water, large bath towels, complimentary shampoos etc. A Great, Value for money experience..||Now for the restaurant ! Large dining room for functions etc., adjoined to a more convivial dining area for couples or families. Excellent welcome, tapas, fine beers and wines are all offered whilst you make your selection from the fabulous Catalan/Spanish menu. ( all translated ). Our Starters were, roasted mixed peppers, broad bean soup,||seafood consommé and Bacalou, all Catalan dishes and all savoured with relish by our group. Mains; Steaks and Conejo, all accompanied with vegetables and patatas ||fritas, all perfectly cooked and served. The restaurant manager suggested two Spanish wines which were both very palatable. Worst place Ive ever been. Mold, hair and dirty bed. Guy at reception was unfriendly when I came to first room that stink like smokers club. 2nd 3rd and 4th room didnt stink, they were just never proper clean, hair on beds and all of them were covered with mold and dirty. Very bad. When I ask for cancel reservation. Guy says there is no reason. Not single penny back. If you like your health just pass this hotel. Stayed here for overnight and I was very impressed with the walking distance to the hotel. The area is very peaceful and more family oriented especially when the Saturday market comes in town.
