Nice camping. We were here in March and it was not to busy. The mainroad which leads to this place is not to big and a little steep but it is oke for a caravan and car combination, if you know how to operate it. I think it's not suited for first timers.....
There are 2 entrances. The first is for the part which is at the roadside, but this road is NOT verry often used. Maybe like 10 cars in 24 hours. The second entrance is for the reception and the highest part of the camping.
! If you arrive you best leave your camper or caravan outside, near the sign which indicates that you should park there (its about a 100 meters walk) . This is because there is near the reception not much room. And if you should decide to pick a pitch at the lower part of this camping you must return to the first entrance...... and there is not much room to manouvre.
There are only a few showers, but they keep 'm clean.
There is 220v and water on most pitches. The internet is not always stable. The more people, the worse it gets. Then i heard that this was due to workers who cut a cable. So it might be better if u visit. The internet is not charched, its free....
The reception is verry friendly and they speak English. Ivan is the owner and a pleasant guy. Florian is the guy from maintenance and is also always friendly(thanks guys!)
We liked this camping a lot for many quite moments.
Update 16th oct 22...We're back! This time on pitch 36 near the road. We got this amazing view. Later we moved to pitch 49/50 upstairs for there is more sun. Love every minute of being here...and surely whe will return next year to this verry...
Read moreWe had a very pleasant stay for over a week here. Quiet, clean campsite with really friendly and helpful owners. On the weekends you get a few more people arriving which gives the place a nice family feel and a bit more atmosphere.
They have a swimming pool (not heated) which we used nearly every day.
Toilets and showers are basic, clean and functional. Drinking water and electricity at every pitch.
Lots of good hikes nearby and great cycling.
The site is well shaded by trees, some pitches get more sun than others but by around 4pm at this time of year (Oct/Nov) the sun is blocked out by the mountain.
Keep in mind, it's a hilly area and there is only one bar/eatery close by, there are a few more within a 15 minute walk. You can get pizza delivered from Orba. There's a small bakery with basic stock in the village too.
It's well priced and they will give you a discount the longer you stay.
We hope to stay...
Read moreOne of the best camping sites we visited in Spain. Beautiful scenery around and a great view to the sea from the front row pitches. Quiet village with bakery and pubs in 5 minutes walking distance.
There is a pool with sun loungers. Amenities in nice wood buildings are very clean. In general, the site is kept nicely clean.
There are a lot of mosquitos all day unless there is wind. In the restrooms there are mosquitos all the time. Bring long-sleeved clothes and anti-mosquito-lotion.
We stayed off-season and the site was very peaceful and quiet. A great place to relax. On Friday night a lot of people arrived late though, and partied loud till 23:00, the official start of the quiet time.
I would return off-season mid-week. Cannot recommend to stay on...
