I stayed here for one night when walking the Camino Sureste in Spain. I wish I had time to stay longer but had to keep going on my long walk. The host Juan was the most helpful person who could not have done any more to help me then he did. He provided lovely food and wine in the evening and a more than plentiful breakfast at my requested time. He and Margarrita looked after me well. Margarrita made me very welcome. The house was absolutely amazing it is beautifully furnished in tradition furniture with lots of really interesting and tasteful object d'arte and antiques, I could have spent a week admiring the house. The modern facilities were tastefully blended with the house style. The bed room was large and very comfortable and the ensuite bright and airy. The windows had mosquito grills to protect your sweet dreams. A flat screen T V was also in the room. Lots of extra facilities were available such as laundry and a fridge next to the bedroom. The house is in corner of a quiet square in the town. ||La Villa de Don Fadrique has several places to visit but it is half way between and an easy travel to the tourist towns of El Toboso and Temblique where there are lots of things to see and do. ||Juan also helped me with my ongoing travel plans which was very much appreciated. I never know where I will travel, next but if I am in this neck of the woods I know where...
Read moreI gave 3 stars for rooms and location as I did not have the chance to stay here. I booked with Booking.com after reading their reviews, which were very good. I sent a message asking what the surcharge for my 2 dogs would be, I got no response. I messaged again and got no response. In desperation I contacted Booking.com who messaged them on my behalf, still no response. I phoned, but I have a very poor command of Spanish and the gentleman who answered had zero English....so that was a very short conversation. It appears from all who have stayed, that it's a lovely venue, but their customer service is well...
Read moreMy fellow peregrino and I were fortunate to stay at Casa Rural El Rincon del infante for one night as we walked on the Camino sureste. Juan the owner could not have been more hospitable. ||The house was clean and spotless. Even without air conditioning the traditional style house was cool from the heat outside. He laundered our clothes and returned them that evening. We slept well in the comfortable beds. In the morning he provided a generous breakfast to suit our early start. We wish Juan well and look forward to staying there...
