This hotel is about 45 minutes away from Seville, on a large ranch property. ||It is truly wonderful. We would return without hesitation. ||Day 1: We were greeted by the owner of the hotel. The staff brought us a mint lemonade, and a refreshing cold lavender infused towel. ||The staff took our car keys and brought all the bags to our room while we were checking in.||The check in process was very laid back. They get you to fill out a form on some nice couches in a living room area. The owner explained the vibes of the hotel: essentially you can set up by the pool, or at the outdoor sectional, or nearby table, and the staff will find you and bring you drinks, food, etc. There are a bunch of nearby activities you can do during the day, including day trips to Seville and Cadiz. ||After we checked in, we went to read our books by the pool, and ordered sangria, guacamole and Yuca chips, and cheese. All very good. ||Around 8pm, everyone congregates to a cluster of tables overlooking the grounds to watch the sunset. The staff bring you drinks (sangria, beer, wine, aperol sprizes etc) and snacks (olives and chips). Then, at your leisure, you head to the dining room. ||The dinner is a pre set dinner, but the staff are very accommodating with likes/dislikes and dietary restrictions. The food was delicious (especially the banana cream desert). ||The water is a bit harsh. It’s not potable, so if you have dyed hair, I would say to be careful. ||The shampoo, conditioner and body wash all smell great and seem like they contain good, high quality ingredients. The conditioner wasn’t the best for my thin hair, and didn’t de tangle as much as I normally like.||The bed was very comfortable, though the pillows are quite flat. The room was a bit warm at night, but the air outside was cool and we opened the windows (beware of mosquitoes). ||Day 2: Our second day, we woke up to a lovely breakfast that the staff set out for us outside our room, on the little patios facing the courtyard. Coffee, fruit, yogurt, and then you can order extra food like eggs and bacon, or a green smoothie. We then went on a long walk around the property (11km). We spent the afternoon lounging by the pool and had lunch.||The lunch was a highlight of the stay. We had an endive and avocado salad, garlic prawns, a ceasar salad, and asparagus. They set our lunch up on a table in the garden. All delectable and picturesque. ||We had a massage and facial in the late afternoon, which was very nice, followed by another great dinner. ||We were sad to leave and sad to have only spent 2 nights here. ||Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to disconnect. The wifi isn’t good, but that’s really the point. You spend your days enjoying nature and the company of your family/friends, and good food. ||There’s a clear focus on the environment, which we quite liked. They encourage guests not to use a lot of water to shower, to reuse towels, and generally, not to waste. The owners and staff clearly care a lot about the property and conservation, which was a nice change. ||If we return to Seville, we will stay at this...
Read moreIt's just been our one year anniversary of my husband and I after getting married at the hacienda, and we wanted to leave a review.
The hacienda is beautiful with all of the natural florals. The grounds are kept immaculate, and the service is incredibly attentive. We were guided at every step for our wedding preparation, and having the place to ourselves for the weekend was so very special.
Everyone was so pleased with the morning breakfast outside your room, and the multiple pools gave everyone enough space to find the hangout energy they were looking for.
The food was incredible at the hacienda. Our favorite was the BBQ buffet they do, which we had for one of the nights. Absolutely incredible.
We were so glad to have our wedding around this time, (June 1), where the sunflowers were in full bloom. It truly looked like a dream and everyone still speaks about it!
We hope our review helps anyone wondering if this is a great venue for your wedding, and let this review tell you that it absolutely is and will be so very unforgettable!
We can't wait to go back (and absolutely plan to) as well to visit the hacienda, as it now holds a special place in ours and our...
