This atmospheric and lovely small inn is located in the tiny village if Villalungua, which has a permanent population of 7. The village is nestled in the mountains and has a stream running by it. The views from the inn are incredible, with fields, streams and mountains. We were the inn's only guest the one evening we were there, and the innkeeper Isadore was incredibly friendly and attentive. ||||The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed on the patio outside, enjoying the scenery and some fine adult beverages.||||We enjoyed the best meal we had in Spain, which was prepared by Isadore. My wife enjoyed a mushroom crepe and rabbit with a wine mushroom sauce, while I had a delicious eggplant, ham and cheese Strada, followed by pork tenderloin in a blue cheese sauce. Dessert and a bottle of wine complimented the feast.||||This is a GREAT place to relax...
Read moreWe love this place. We have been there twice and we will go back there again. It's very peaceful there and sitting on the terrace drinking jugs of beer and listening to the sounds of nature is very cathartic. The owner is a lovely guy who works hard to ensure everything is perfect for his guests. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and they have screens on the windows to keep the flies out. There is a river a few minutes away from the hotel which our dog loves playing in. The food is excellent. We've enjoyed every dish we've eaten there and the portions are more than enough. I cannot fault this place, if you like food and nature then...
Read moreWe stayed here for three nights and it was fantastic. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, he really makes you feel at home. The food is fantastic, my favourites are the carrilleras (pork cheeks stewed in red wine) and the pollo asado (roast chicken) but everything I ate there was delicious. The view is stunning and sitting outside to eat is a very pleasurable experience, especially because it's so peaceful. There are hiking routes that start very close to the hotel if you're into walking in nature and there is a river a few minutes away which our dog loved. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and am looking forward to going...
