Finca Llíber — Hotel in Llíber

My best friend and I celebrated our birthdays at Finca Lliber and couldn't have asked for a more ideal location. We stayed in the small wooden house at the back of the property. The house itself has a rustic charm while being outfitted with high quality furnishings and equipment (comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen with good pots, lovely plate ware, glasses, linens), incredible attention to detail with lots of love and care. Our hosts Schelto and Sasha were very attentive/friendly/easy going while respecting our space and privacy. They provided us with treats every morning (fresh ground coffee, farm fresh eggs, baked goods) and Schelto gave us some great travel tips include google map directions to a beautiful local restaurant via an incredible backroad with views across the hills to the ocean - amazing but not for anyone who doesn't like mountain roads or heights. It was too cold for us to enjoy the pool but the views from the front of the property are epic. The front porch of the small house is also the perfect spot for private yoga practice. I look forward to returning with my partner and other friends....

We hebben heel mooie dagen gehad in Finca Lliber. Sacha en Schelto mogen wat ons betreft meteen tot superhosts worden benoemd. We hebben al heel wat gastvrijheid mogen ervaren tijdens onze reizen, maar zij staan echt wel in onze top 3. Het zijn oprecht warme, attente mensen, met passie voor wat ze doen en een voor ons heel mooi evenwicht tussen afstand en nabijheid. Wij kwamen aan op de avond voor een feestdag (dus alle winkels gesloten), ze vroegen ons vooraf om een boodschappenlijstje en alle inkopen stonden klaar in ons huisje. Dat gaf meteen een heel verwend gevoel. Ze zijn ook zeer vlot bereikbaar voor alle mogelijke info. De accomodatie is erg goed gelegen, op een half uurtje wandelen van het dorpje van LLiber (lekker rustig door de vallei met amandelbomen) en op rij-afstand van leuke strandjes. Het is er heel rustig. Wij verbleven in het kleine huisje, waarin getoverd is met de beperkte ruimte. Voor winterse dagen is het wel aan de kleine kant. Wij (mijn partner en ik) vonden het wel cosy zo, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat dat niet voor iedereen zo is. In theorie kan je er met 3 personen verblijven, maar in de winter lijkt me dat niet prettig. Voor tussenseizoen en zomer is het perfect, dan leef je vooral buiten en is het huisje een rustig plekje om te slapen, te douchen en te koken. Het is leuk dat het keukenmateriaal van uitstekende kwaliteit is, iets wat niet zo vaak voorkomt in vakantiehuisjes van deze prijsklasse. De badhanddoeken zijn heerlijk groot en dik en er is goeie douchezeep, shampoo, watjes en zo. Ook het bed en beddengoed zijn zalig. 's Avonds slaap je in met het oehoe'en van de uil. De tuin is groot en heeft veel zitplekjes. De grote dennenboom (mét eekhoorntjes) ruikt heerlijk. Dat was, naast de stilte, het eerste wat me opviel toen we bij aankomst, om 21:30, uit de auto stapten. In de tuin is ook nog een cabane voor 4 personen en in het huis is een gastenkamer. Wij komen graag...

We stayed with our group of 9 in this gorgeous property for 8 days. We were very impressed by the facilities, surrounding area and very accommodating hosts. Finca Lliber offers a fantastic outdoor kitchen, private indoor kitchens, a lovely pool and idyllic and stylish seating areas with panoramic views of the mountains and nearby villages. Hosts helped us to find our way to the many activities in the area (e.g. hiking in the mountains, paddle boarding and wine tasting). It was fun to meet the pet chickens and enjoy their eggs. Overall a great stay and we can't wait to...
