Casa Lamberdina — Hotel in Lorca

Our stay at B&B Casa Lamberdina, http://www.casalamberdina.nl/index.html, of Madelon and Arnold was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt welcome by their personal and warm approach. The rooms were wonderfully comfortable and stylishly decorated, which made us feel right at home. Our dog was also very welcome, which is certainly very important to us. In the morning we enjoyed an extensive breakfast, with fresh rolls, an egg the way you like it, delicious toppings and a lot of attention to detail. Dinner was also a culinary highlight every time, prepared with care and love by Chef Arnold. Fancy a drink? The Honesty bar is well stocked with something for everyone. The excellent coffee tastes good all day long! What made this stay extra special was the breathtaking view of the mountains. It gave us an ultimate feeling of peace and relaxation. Beautiful space. We hiked there and it was like discovering an oasis in the desert! The hotel is a few beautiful bedrooms surrounding a pool, with the main house where the Dutch owners live. It felt more like a homestay. The bedroom was new, the decoration was lovely, shower was hot with great water pressure. We had dinner with the hosts which is an extra cost you can organise with them. The food was home-cooked (delicious!) and we enjoyed the conversation. The breakfast they put on was absolutely sensational. Payment to be made in cash or bank transfer. The rooms don't have fridges or any catering facilities so you are quite reliant on the hosts - we were aware of this before booking, so not an issue! Staying at Casa Lamberdina was a very special experience. The hosts could not do enough to make our stay totally memorable. We arrived as guests and left as friends. Everything was just perfect, from the superb bedding, super huge soft bath towels, stylish decor, exceptional breakfast selection and delicious evening meal at the family table. Conversation flowed and we felt absolutely relaxed in good company. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean, warm and inviting at anytime. The Casa is located in a secluded and remote location which enjoyed spectacular views over the countryside.
