Hotel Puerta de Monfragüe — Hotel in Malpartida de Plasencia

It took us a while to find the place because its real name is Cañada Real. This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in my life. Old, very old, grim, dirty, badly kept. The swimming pool is unattended and old, the bathrooms are dirty. We travelled with friends who had to ask for a room change after clearing dirty ash trays and empty water bottles from their room. The bar has an awful feel, they have stock lying around on the floor in the kitchen.||I insisted on paying and checking out the night before because we were leaving early and they tried to make me wait until the morning, claiming that they have 24h Reception service... when we left at 6am there was no one to be seen anywhere in...

Hotel is old and worn out. They claim to be a 3 stars hotel, but it is a 1 star hotel at best. The bathroom was grimmy and soap to wash your hand was missing. Beds were very wormed out and the pillows were flat as a pancake. I asked for 2 extra pillows and it was still flat. Toilette paper was minimal and we have to go to the front desk and ask for more. Internet service was non exsistant. We were with a tour group and when everyone was on the internet you couldn’t even send out an email. The only good thing I can say about the hotel was that the staff, both the front desk and restaurant were friendly and willing to help...

No recomiendo en absoluto este hotel. Las habitaciones, sucias; las camas y almohadas, incomodas; el servicio, maleducado y borde. Por las mañanas no hay nadie en recepción para atenderte, te dejan un número para llamar si necesitas algo, pero no siempre responde. El desayuno es de lo más pobre que he visto, he desayunado mejor en hoteles de 2 estrellas. Y la comida deja mucho que desear, tienen poca variedad, estuve alojada 3 días y nos dieron de comer carne con patatas 2 de los días. Además, no tienen en cuenta intolerancias y alergias, cuando les comunicas que tienes alguna parece que es el fin del mundo para ellos. Con respecto a las habitaciones, tienen las paredes de papel, la mampara de mi baño tenía un hueco por lo que este se inundaba cuando querías ducharte, el mini bar esta cerrado con llave, hay 2 enchufes en la habitación y las paredes se caen a cachos. Apenas limpian, pues cuando llegue había un mosquito aplastado en la pared y cuando me fui, ahí seguía. Al igual que el comedor, que a una compañera se le cayó una patata frita el primer día y ahí seguía el último. En el primer desayuno nos pusieron yogures y manzanas los cuales se quedaron ahí fuera el resto de días pudriéndose (adjunto imagen) La iluminación del hotel es en general inexistente. Iba con un grupo con discapacidad visual y esto no ayudó a que orientaran. Para rematar hay un par de personajes viviendo en el hotel que hacen de la estancia algo incómodo. No es para ir en familia. Para añadir, está en medio de la nada, el camino para ir al pueblo es inexistente y la accesibilidad del hotel era nula. En...
