Finca Ses Rotetes — Hotel in Manacor

Just returned last night from staying at this amazing agritorismo. We stayed in the three bedroom apartment, which comprises almost the whole bottom half of the building, with a beautiful living room, kitchen, dining room, and two full bathrooms. The finca/agriturisom is located just outside or Porto Cristo, a beautiful touristy town on the eastern shores of Mallorca. We came for the deep water soloing (climbing) famous in Mallorca, and the location is perfect. We've stayed before in Cala Millor, and I almost booked a hotel on a beach, but I much prefer staying at a place where you can truly relax, meet the locals, learn a little history of the island, and get away from the tourist traps. The grounds are stunning. The garden area is huge, with orange, plum, and lemon trees all around (and all very ripe and delcious and free for the taking), as well as olive trees, figs, and a ton of vegetables. We travelled with 2 friends and our 4 year old and 1 year old. The highlight for our kids was the turtles! There were no less than 20 hanging around the property every day that we'd round up and watch. Oh, and the wonderful pool with beach toys and a kids slide plus a tennis court. We had the most magnificant dinner our last night at the place and Antonio brought us out his delicous red wine grown from his own vineyards. Perfect way to end our stay. I only wish we had eaten every meal at the house. If you come, you will need to have a rental car, because you are a few km from town. The only bad thing I can mention are the beds. Not the most comfortable for sleeping, but then again, almost everywhere I have stayed in Spain is like that. Clean, beautifully decorated, peaceful, amazing garden/orchard and food, and wonderful hosts make the place truly the best place to stay...

Place looks nice, nice house, pool and garden. One star because there are several kitchens here but there are not enough plates cups etc. the only kitchen that can be used is the kitchen downstairs, where dishwasher was fault. We had a wedding party and imagine that you have sofas around the pool and during the event garden sprinklers turns on and make everything wet, when the owner promised to turn off the sprinklers.. in the bathroom you only have one roll of toilet paper so i recommend to bring it. The room where are pool accessories was mess. There was dust in the room on the floor. There is no coffee, sugar, salt in the kitchen, when we wanted to leave coffee etc. for future guests, owner told us to take everything away.. there were no garbage bags and the garbage container is far away.. I was just a guest but I do not understand the additional fee for wedding party when the house is not adapted and equipped for that.. I do not...

This is a beautiful location. We stayed there for a yogaretreat with The yogaconcept Mallorca, With Mercedes and Vero. Caro the owner of this location is a wonderful and lovely person. She lives with her two dogs nearby in a separate house. The location is very clean. There is a big kitchen, many options to sit outside, have barbecue etc. A wonderful and well-kept garden with olive trees, a big old oak, many orange trees etc. A big and friendly house with a special and peaceful spirit. With chicken, ducks, turtels, A beautiful and huge swimming pool and a shower outside near the pool. If you hesitate to book this house, don't hesitate. This is a highly recommended location to stay. There are two options of beaches about 2 km walk. If you love to relax an peaceful and well-kept area this is the right place to stay. Irene from Germany,...
