Mas Ombravella — Hotel in Mieres

Truly a beautiful, picturesque part of the Catalan countryside. Our first stay in La Garrotxa could not have been in a more idyllic setting. Great quality accommodation and surroundings at the Farm house which is divided into independent, self-catering apartments. In the mornings you can join owner ,José, as he feeds and checks on all the farmyard occupants from peacocks, geese, rabbits and tortoises to donkeys, goats, sheep and horse all roaming around together. Our daughter was in heaven and spent whole days outdoors free-ranging with the dogs, cat and horses. We were lucky enough to be there when a mother goat gave birth to 2 kids which the children adored. A great place to relax and unwind or a base to head out from and explore the natural pools, volcanoes and medieval villages in the area. They have a few basic items available to purchase if needed and Nuria who runs the accommodation side of things could not have been more helpful, bringing us up potatoes from the village, offering to run us into town and laying out some Easter treats for the kids. She even kindly got our barbecue all set up for us! Cuando buscas un sitio con las características de Mas Ombravella, piensas:||Es una granja dónde tienen animales, una casa rural con piscina en un sitio tranquilo para descansar, relajarte y disfrutar.||Casa con apartamentos rurales bien equipados, ubicación excepcional, zona de recreo muy buen cuidada(piscina,columpio,barbacoas,zona común con chimenea,tele,juguetes,bicis,motos...) todo lo necesario para los peques y adultos.||||El trato es excepcional,no sólo Nuria y Jordi te facilitan la estancia sino que hacen prácticamente lo que está en su mano para que estés como en ningún sitio. Son geniales.||||Jose es el dueño de Mas Ombravella, con quien cada día das de comer a la gran cantidad de animales, si quieres claro. Se nota que le gusta lo que hace, está todo el rato pendiente de los niños y de los animales. Te explica, te enseña y hace que los grandes disfrutemos como niños y que los pequeños lo pasen como nunca. Caballos,burros,ocas,paros,pavos reales,perros,gatos,cabras,ovejas,conejos,gallinas...Una gran cantidad de animales.||||Y si encima tienes la suerte de tener compañeros de viaje inmejorables:Sandra-Oriol-Roger-Arlet—-Nuria-Oscar-Pau-Jana junto a Marc-Carla y Stella. Price exagerate compare to the quality you get there. Appartament are fine, but you have to pay 12 euro /day extra if you want e/c (after you already pay 120 euro/day). Animals are there, but not corresponding to booking pictures...you see then really far... and swimming pool is not clean as it should.
