Oh! Wow! Where do I start? This property is defo off the main track but if you are the kind of traveler who likes different, likes off the beaten track, likes homely food and comfort, likes to feel welcome as a foreigner and yes, welcome as a British Tourist, then you will love this place. The property was left empty for 40 years when the 2 Tomas's bought it and turned it into a living museum complete with a forge and a wine making cellar. They also made 8 beautiful rooms for let. We had the Forge bedroom which was very clean and comfortable. Beer was just 3 Euros. Our evening meal was made by Tomas number 2 who used all the ingredients from the kitchen garden. It was both filling and healthy. Breakfast was just the same. £123 was our bill for B&B and our evening meal and including beer & wine. The B&B was £82. There is not a lot in the village so eating out may not be a possibility. The roads around the area are quiet, very little traffic but the standard of road surface is superb, We love Northern Spain! Before we departed we had a tour of the property and an explanation, in English, from Tomas 2 of their refurbishment and acquisition of the items on display|y and the history of the house and the family who lived there and traveled to the Americas. Tomas number 1 is Tomas Saura who will answer emails and take...

What an amazing stay at Casona Indiana. It is situated not too far from the motorway and in the most beautiful village nestled in the countryside.|My one night stay was an absolute delight from start to finish. |I was warmly greeted by the two Tomases. What lovely gentleman they both are and so friendly. The comfort of your stay matters to them.|They showed me to my room and as I travelled through the house I couldn’t help oo-ing and arr-ing at the decor and sympathetically restored features.|It was lovely learning the history of the house and when they discovered it and bought it. It has been restored to such a high standard. I loved how its history is showcased.|The bedroom and en suite bathroom was very clean and very comfortable. |I have to mention the food because many of the fresh ingredients are grown in the garden. I had dinner in the evening and breakfast the following morning. It was all delicious and I particularly enjoyed the homemade jams. I also liked that you can buy the jams, honey and wine to take away with you. The Tomases hospitality was exceptional.|All in a really wonderful stay and one that comes highly...

What an amazing place to escape and just rest and relax. The owners of this Hotel have placed their heat and soul into this beautiful place. Tomas & Tomas do it all themselves! From greeting you to feeding you :) This is the place to go if you like to walk in a small town and sit quietly with no hassle from the city sounds. Loved waking up to the Rooster and hearing the midnight bell. I appreciated not having a TV in the room. This was outside in the common area, but we did not miss it. After eating our wonderful dinner made by Tomas & Tomas - with their own grown vegetables and farm eggs, the end of the day was spent quietly sitting and reading in the room. Highly recommend this wonderful...

Look at this as an experience, not just a hotel stay because it is more a museum (and a delightful one) than a hotel. The owners are engaged in the recovery and renaissance of an old farm house in a tiny village in Burgos near the border with Alaba. The results are wonderful and you will have the most unforgettable personal anecdote of your travel. Do not forget to enjoy the visit to the rest of the farmhouse, including the manger and the wine cellar. Eating here is also a memorable event, with mostly local produce and eggs from their own chicken coop. We will forever relish the decision of making this our accommodation, wishing we had more extra time devoted to this exceptionally quaint place.

100%recomendable
