Camping 1ª O Muiño - Bungalow Park — Hotel in Oia

Extremely disappointed ☹️.. (Bungalow number 12)

we drove 2 hours to get there thinking that we would get a nice 5 people bungalow, however what we got was an bad maintenance super small one that didn't even have the 1'5 m distance from the next one. No place where to put our 2 dogs nor the 3 year old kid. IT was that small, that the water heater was inside of the main bedroom closet!!!😱😱 the car 🚗 didn't even fit next to it...(see pictures) They knew about this and didn't care, they only wanted to "profit" without caring about their customers, nor the COVID-19 restrictions... We used to love this camping as we went last summer and we got a super nice one with a nice view and space. We complained about this to the owner, however they responded saying that it was "our view" not even an apology from them, and they refused to refund the 80 EUR for the reservation... There was also no place to put the small table and chairs to eat outside as the rest of the bungalows next to us. Ours was the smallest and the worse... They gave us no choice but to drive back another 2 hours with our 2 dogs and a 3 year old... No vacation time 🥺 as everything was full....again super disappointed 😞 and we will file a formal complain to the consumer office. We arrived at this site in our motorhome for a relaxing week. The location is a bit isolated, as we don’t cycle. Parked in a pitch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, spectacular views along the rugged coast. Fortunately the weather was good during our stay, but I would think this place can be pretty uncomfortable in the bad weather, as not much to do locally.|Facilities are good, but improvement needed in some areas. Hot water is scarce throughout, although we found a tap delivering hot water on our fifth day.|Showers just OK.|The site has a well stocked supermarket, reception is good and staff are very helpful.|The bar/restaurant is reasonably priced, food good and ample selection. Calimari are really good, best I have eaten!|The beach is small with access from the site. Access to the sea is difficult through the rocks and not suitable for swimming.|During our stay we made friends with some Spanish families, who were very happy to involve us. |The site is full of mostly Spanish who tend to decamp for August, normal in Spain, but everyone seems to get on with each other.|If this site were nearer to home we would definitely stay again, but it’s not, and not on any route where we...

El camping es precioso, las vistas son increíbles, está ubicado en muy buena zona y el gran molino lo hace muy especial. En estética, está muy bien, pero a la hora de la práctica nos decepcionó en varios aspectos. Las parcelas, salvo alguna excepción, no son demasiado grandes. Nosotros dormíamos en carro tienda, lo cual comunicamos por email en el momento de hacer la reserva. Según llegamos, la chica de recepción ya se quejó de que teníamos que haberles enviado las medidas del carro tienda, por si no cabía en la parcela que nos asignaron. Tuvimos la suerte de que sí, por los pelos, no sé cuál hubiera sido la solución si no. Nos pareció mal su actitud, como si la culpa fuera nuestra. Cuando intentamos entrar con el coche, la carretera de acceso a la primera calle es muy empinada y con un alto bordillo, dificulta mucho pasar, el coche rozaba por la zona baja... En los cuadros de luz, el enchufe que tienen es CEE, el de las caravanas, cosa que tampoco había visto en ningún camping. Te dejan prestado un adaptador para enchufe Europlug si les dejas una fianza de 20€. Menos mal que lo tienen, porque es algo de lo que tampoco advierten. Las duchas, con mucha presión de agua y sin poder regular la temperatura. Limpieza regular, dejaba un poco que desear, además de que los baños estaban anticuados, los pestillos fallaban... Hay agua caliente en fregaderos, punto a favor, además de que los hay cubiertos y en exterior. Zona de barbacoas con vistas al mar, pero perjudicial ya que están sin tapar del sol y expuestas al fuerte viento, sin luz. En general, ausencia de luz en todo en camping cuando anochece, hay farolas por todas las calles, pero siempre apagadas. La cala de la que hablan está formada por rocas, apenas arena. Para llegar al agua hay que pasar por esas rocas, por lo que no es demasiado accesible para darse un baño. Se baja a ella directamente desde el camping. La seguridad del camping por la noche, escasa o inexistente... Una de las noches, que teníamos a un gran grupo de gente en la parcela de al lado, estos se dedicaron a poner música alta en un altavoz y a hablar en un todo elevado. Llamamos al camping a las 2 de la madrugada, esperando que alguien nos atendiera para llamarles la atención, pero no respondió nadie, ni encontramos a la persona de seguridad... En general, demasiado permisivos con los malos comportamientos de la gente, nunca había estado en un camping donde permitieran ruido y música por la noche y que nadie haga nada. Hemos oído que hacen bastantes actividades para niños, cada día anunciaban una. Nunca comimos en el restaurante, de este no podemos opinar. El supermercado es pequeño pero tiene lo esencial, el señor que lo atiende...
