Casa Brisa proved to be the perfect place to stay for my three-night visit to Sitges. Located on a mountain ridge, Casa Brisa offers both valley views and an ocean view framed by the trees of a nature reserve that adjoins the property. There is ample on-street parking and a private entrance for guests. My hosts, Claudio and Paul, offered me an unexpected free upgrade, which gave me an en suite bathroom and access - including a view through a large double glass sliding door - to the pool. It was shoulder season - the beginning of May - with pleasant daytime weather but chilly nights: ideal for visiting a beautiful old winery just 15 minutes’ drive away, and for popping down the hill to the shops, cafes and beaches of Sitges no more than 20 minutes away. My room was large, stylish and well appointed, with central cooling/heating (which I didn’t use given the pleasant weather), a comfortably sized double wardrobe annex, and a spacious, modern bathroom with generous shower, heated towel rails, and an anti-mist bathroom mirror that made morning shaving a breeze. Guest rooms connect to an open-plan and sunlight-filled lounge, dining and kitchen area dedicated to the guests. This area, too, benefits from the expansive views, and opens directly onto the pool patio. I highly recommend Casa Brisa to anyone with an adventurous spirit, who wishes to enjoy not only the gay beaches and cafes of Sitges, but also the beautiful surrounding countryside, ancient wineries and impressive Catalonia castles.

My fiance and I stayed at Casa Brisa for a week and feel so very lucky to have found this gem of a place. It is situated about 20 minutes from the busyness of Sitges, which suited us perfectly as a quiet and restful escape, but also with easy access to the wonderful beaches and surrounding villages. We stayed in the self-contained cottage room, with our own kitchenette which enabled us to make our own dinners when we wanted. The room was spacious and well equipped, with private lounge and en-suite. We also had access to the beautiful pool and patio, and shared communal spaces to meet and interact with other lovely gay visitors. Claudio and Paul were amazing, seeing to our every need and helping with advice and local suggestions for places to visit and beaches to explore. Breakfast was healthy and fresh everyday - and Claudio even made special adjustments to accommodate my vegan diet, going above and beyond to meet my needs! The beautifully manicured gardens, plus the clothing optional pool also helped for us to feel comfortable and relaxed in beautiful and calm surrounds. Thank you Paul and Claudio for creating such a lovely space for gay travellers, for your care and attentiveness, and for treating us like old friends. We will be back, hopefully to join one of the yoga retreats!!

Casa Brisa is a must! From the moment of booking to leaving, this oasis everything was top class. The hosts, Claudio and Paul are attentive, knowledgeable and care about their guests. The attention to detail throughout is remarkable. Wi-Fi is excellent throughout Casa Brisa. Breakfast is fabulous, served on the terrace, and giving the opportunity to meet and chat with the other guests. With a maximum of 10 people at any time this is a friendly and valuable time to share recommendations for bars, restaurants, beaches etc. The house backs on to Parc Del Garraf and in the gardens you’ll enjoy the seawater swimming pool fanned by the breeze with stunning views and beautiful sunsets. The location just 10 minutes by car from the vibrant resort of Sitges is ideal for exploring the many charming towns and villages in this historic area of Catalonia. The area also boasts many fine vineyards some of which host wine tasting tours and are definitely worth a few hours of your time. Honestly I couldn’t find fault. I will definitely be back!

I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at Casa Brisa… perched above Sitges amongst the pine trees of a nature reserve sits this little gay friendly paradise.. the House of the Breeze… where you feel welcomed to your very own private villa and gardens … attention to details make all the difference…. Stylishly designed with the guest in mind… landscaped sea views come complete with lavender and wild fennel scents that remind you of nature’s presence and quiet comfort…. The sun drenched terrace and swim length pool tempt you to sunbathe with a relaxing drink and then cool off in the refreshing waters of the tiled pool… with ample space and sun lounges, and shade covered terraces the light and warmth are both energising and relaxing. Feel free to enjoy life ‘au naturel’ here ! There is comfort in every corner of the Casa with a curated artist’s style which makes every day a pleasure to just relax…. Claudio’s home made breakfast starts you off… and in the guest common area there is coffee and cold drinks always at your reach, plus the luxurious showers and soft towels, linens and pillows are sensory pleasures! As the sun sets and cast beautiful long shadows over the gardens the soft lighting compliment the stars as the night falls… you really feel away from it all … but the nightlife and buzz of Sitges beckons just 25 minutes away…. Casa Brisa is thoughtfully and lovingly run by the owners Paul and Claudio who bring a personal touch to creating an informal but high quality experience for the discerning Sitges visitor… you are encouraged to feel at home and at one with nature in this private and tranquil retreat in the hills of Catalunya…. Only 30 mins from Barca airport and 45 from the city… Do yourself a favour and enjoy a stay here as I did… I can’t...

First, it's worth saying that, having in the past stayed in gay guest houses, which were off the beaten track, we found Casa Brisa, very near to Sant Pere de Ribes and only three or four miles from Sitges, very easy to reach by car. It's on the edge of the Penedes wine-growing region, famous for its Cava and the estates of Cordoníu and Freixenet, the former noted for its architecture and beautiful terrace restaurant, are within easy reach. Claudio and Paul are perfect hosts. Neither have gushing, over the top personalities, they're quite low key and may well make quite a serious initial impression. But they offer sincere friendship and, when required, excellent advice to their visitors. They are serious foodies and their restaurant recommendations, both in Sant Pere and Sitges and, in our case, in Barcelona too, as we were going on to spend 5 nights there, were absolutely on the money. The strikingly modern property is impeccably maintained, with a good-sized swimming pool, surrounded by comfortable double loungers etc. and the accommodation first class. On one side of the building is Claudio and Paul's home, on the other 4 or 5 double rooms all en suite, a large public room with dining room furniture, fully equipped kitchen etc. and a smaller sitting room for the guests' use. Everything is of the highest quality. Not for Claudio, when he planned and designed the accommodation, a quick dash round IKEA to grab the necessary. Here, from bathroom equipment (down to lavatory paper holders) to lighting and every item of furniture, his design eye is apparent. And the morning breakfast, served daily on the terrace outside the hosts' living quarters, is, as you would expect, generous and excellent. This is 5 star accommodation. Highly...

Testimonial — Casa Brisa

I had the pleasure of being invited to cook for a six-day yoga retreat at Casa Brisa, where I experienced not only the stunning surroundings but also the exceptional kitchen that Claudio, Paul, and Niels have so thoughtfully designed.

From our very first exchanges, Claudio impressed me with his professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. Always punctual, forward-thinking, and considerate, he made the planning process seamless. After I created the menu, he reviewed it with great care to ensure it aligned beautifully with the esprit of the event — always kind, communicative, and supportive.

Throughout the retreat, I was met with trust and respect at every step, which made our collaboration flow effortlessly and turned the week into a genuine success.

Casa Brisa itself is a sanctuary of serenity and refinement, offering every facility needed for a restful and mindful stay. The house features soft, calming tones complemented by vibrant art pieces that are a delight to look at and add to the caché of the entire villa. Although only 15 minutes from the center of Sitges, it feels like a peaceful escape — opening onto the forest and offering an abundance of light, privacy, and tranquility.

Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, reflecting a true savoir-faire in hospitality and design. Casa Brisa is far more than a place to stay — it is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with calm, nature, and oneself.

With heartfelt gratitude for this beautiful experience, Lila (Dosa...
