House O Venturo — Hotel in Ortigueira

We recently had the pleasure of staying at House O Venturo, and it was an unforgettable experience! Sergio, the host of this hidden gem, went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. This cozy place made our stay truly memorable.

The house is absolutely stunning and boasts a prime location. It is incredibly spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities for preparing your own meals.

The apartment was absolutely lovely, with a spacious layout and a charming historical feel. We were truly enamored with the authentic old interiors. The apartment also had good basic amenities, such as a washing machine, and we particularly enjoyed the sitting area on the patio.

We had a great stay at House o Ventura. Sergio is a wonderful, welcoming host, the house has all you need and is beautifully designed. The house is set in a nice garden with views on the valley. There is much to discover in this part of Galicia, like breathtaking cliffwalks and cosy fishervillages. Sergio can advise you on all the possibilities. Magnifique séjour de 3 semaines cet été 2025 en Galice dans ce gîte adorable, confortable, bien aménagé et décoré (nous étions dans le cottage avec le toit végétalisé). En plus de la très grande chambre en bois avec grandes baies vitrées, cuisine et salle de bain, nous avons profité de la cuisine, barbecue et coin repas à l'extérieur, ombragés et avec très belle vue sur un jardin très bien entretenu. Le tout dans un calme absolu avec juste le bruissement du vent dans la forêt d'eucalyptus et quelques grillons, et la compagnie d'Astro, le magnifique et très intelligent chien de Sergio, Sergio que nous remercions de son accueil. La région est incroyable de diversité de paysages et encore préservée du tourisme de masse, et la température est très douce même en plein été. Les petits resto de plages ou des ports permettent des dégustations de poissons et fruits de mer extra à des prix très abordables et nous y avons découvert les pouce-pieds (bernacles). Le gîte n'est qu'à 1h30-2h de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, du canyon de Sil (Ribeira Sacra), des murailles romaines de Lugo, de la pointe Finistère, de la plage des Cathédrales...
