Can Massana — Hotel in Pau

This place is just amazing. All the details are perfect and you will love your stay at Can Massana. The renovated house is really cosy, warm and welcoming. The location is superb and if you come by motorbike you will enjoy the views along the road. There is a terrace where they serve breakfast, amazing view of olive trees and mountains surrounding you. The breakfast is simply delicious and it offers a lot of options, each ingredient is selected to be just perfect. The owners are super nice and welcoming. The interior will be a surprise and you will feel at home. We arrived by motorbike from Cadaques, amazing road with such nice views. My partner and I stayed at Can Massana and had an incredible time. The quiant little town that it is based in is quiet and relaxing. If you're looking for somewhere remote without much noise/light pollution this is a great option for you. The building and rooms seem like they're the perfect combination of modern and original design, the thought that has gone into everything is obvious. En tren desde Barcelona a Vilajuïga.

De Vilajuïga a Pau son 2km entre viñedos por un camino de tierra - caminando en abril pasarás amapolas. En Semana Santa viajamos por la mañana desde Barcelona con el R11 en 2,5 horas. La propiedad se encuentra entre colinas, montañas y olivos.

Lo que escuchas son ovejas, grillos, pájaros y una increíble cantidad de silencio. Si te sientas y cierras los ojos por un momento, todo es como debe ser. Y ahí está Floc, probablemente el anfitrión de cuatro patas más relajado y alegre de Gerona.

Nuestra habitación tenía una vista amplia a un jardín y colinas, que por la mañana podias admirar desde la cama o caminando. La luz era de hecho mágica. Por un rato no quisimos salir de la habitación, a pesar de la terraza única. Sobre todo por la vista de una bañera frente a la ventana - se puede decir que nos pareció un escenario de película.

Por cierto, el mobiliario de la terraza está todo hecho a mano y se puede ver y sentir. Recordaremos el desayuno con mucho gusto porque, además de la muy buena comida, hay unos anfitriones que saben lo que es importante. Es simplemente adorable en todos los aspectos, como no esperábamos a pesar de la gran anticipación.
