This is the best hostel my family and I have ever stayed in! Not only was it incredibly comfortable and cozy, the owners went above and beyond for us. My family and I arrived at nightime after a 23 mile hike, and without having eaten anything for several hours. We only had to mention not finding any food nearby for the owners to offer to make us dinner themselves. They soon came back with a full meal, a bottle of wine, and some ingredients for the next morning's breakfast. Read moreThe property is set on wide open grounds. Self-service kitchen wiith basic equipment. We made our lunch and enjoyed it in the spacious dining area. Our room as on the ground floor. I only gave a 4-star for the room because there was not sufficient insulation from the room directly above us. The guests upstairs sounded like they were enjoying some line dancing - so much noise around midnight, and very early in the morning. Thank goodness the bed was comfortable, otherwise I would have lost more sleep than I did. The meals at the nearby restaurant was substantial and delicious. It was a great place to stop for the day as when we started out in the next morning we were completely alone and really enjoyed the beautiful walk.
