Cal Porxo — Hotel in Pradell de la Teixeta

We stayed here just before Christmas in 2019. It was the highlight of our trip. Jesus was an incredible host and really made us feel at home. He made it very clear that nothing would be open in town during our stay and to make sure we had everything we would need a few days before Christmas due to everything in the region shutting down. Not a problem as we planned to cook and the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and cookware. Ha estat una experiència brutal... Primer el poble, al que arribes per una carretereta amb oliveres a banda i banda, que et donen la benvinguda: petit, cuidat, ple de raconets especials.

Segon Cal Porxo, una casa de poble molt ben reformada, amb una decoració molt xula i molt bona selecció de mobles, alguna de les peces eren espectaculars. En concret les dues butaques al rebedor de les habitacions, quin racó més xulo! La casa suuuuperneta i suuuuperendreçada. Els llits, tot i ser antics eren sorprenentment còmodes! I l'atenció del Jesús merexeria capítol apart, atent, es desfà en explicacions i si teniu sort us deixarà tastar una ratafia memorable.

En resum, molt, molt, molt...

Cal Porxo és una casa rural plena de detalls i molt acollidora que et transporta als records d'infantesa de casa de la padrina. No hi falta de res, una cuina molt pràctica, les habitacions amples i una terrasseta ha on pots gaudir d'un cel estrellat i unes vistes espectaculars. Per altra banda l'atenció d'en Jesús, l'amfitrió de la casa, ha sigut de 10. Atent com mai i oferint-nos un tastet de vermuts i caldos...
