This hotel is very accessible from the main coastal road. It enjoys a superb location with views down to the sea and to different ranges of hills that you can sit and enjoy for hours. The owner Jose Luis could not be more helpful. He has a range of different rooms in the main building and a smaller bungalow. There is a super friendly atmosphere with other guests exchanging tips on places to see in the area. We stayed here for three nights last week and had a great stay. The hotel is just a ten minutes easy drive from Ribadasella but there is also a nearby bar/restaurant if you want to stay local. We used this as a base for kayaking in Arriondas which is only 20-30 minutes away. The room was very big and spotlessly clean and the gardens were beautiful. Me encantó El Pagadín. José es un encanto, nos trató genial y muy atento. La casa es preciosa, unas vistas magníficas y ubicación ideal. En realidad la habitación asignada era otra pero José tuvo el detalle de ponernos en la mejor habitación que tiene porche y mejores vistas. ||Fuimos de sábado a domingo desde Madrid. Al llegar, nos fuimos a hacer el descenso del sella a Arriondas. Está a 10 minutos y la ruta en coche por dentro es IMPRESIONANTE. Por la noche fuimos a Ribadesella a cenar y tardamos 10 minutos. El domingo fuimos al mirador de Fitu y de nuevo, maravilloso el trayecto en coche. 15 minutos tardamos. ||Además, José nos preparó unos tortos caseros de desayuno, que en un principio no habíamos incluido en la reserva, que desde luego merecieron la pena. Nada que ver con los tortos que probamos en los retaurantes. ¡Buenísimos!||||||Lo único que no nos gustó es que tanto la cama de matrimonio como las almohadas no eran cómodas. La cama eran dos camas juntas y se notaba la raja en medio. ||||Todo lo demás: fabuloso....
