Nice rooms and location but value for money isn't as good as some other hotels. Sorry but a room opening onto a carpark doesn't warrant a price of €260 per night. For example Hotel Catalonia Reina Victoria was €100 a night less to get a suite with Tao views in town. The suite we had a Hotel La Fuente was nice with a fire but the bathroom window had to have frosting or people would see you showering from the carpark.

The location is 15 mins drive from town so you need a car, this is good in some ways since it's quiet but in other ways it is isolated and if you must have meals onsite they are expensive. We had the Christmas Eve dinner which was 7 small courses and quite nice but for €110 it could have included drinks- we even had to pay for water.

We saw Thai massage in the room booklet and asked for this and it was honestly the worst massage we've had. The guy was nice but not professionally trained and spent 30 mins massaging our legs so it didn't end up being a full body. Due to his inexperience he actually bruised my husband's neck. We told the hotel but they didn't seem to care and said the Thai massage wasn't available - but had they told us this when we booked we wouldn't have proceeded. This left us with a bad impression of the hotel. We enjoyed many aspects but due to the experience with the massage and an overall higher price compared to the value received in other places we likely...

La Fuente de La Higuera is a most wonderful countryside retreat, approximately 15 mins drive from Ronda set in idyllic peaceful grounds with beautiful views all around. It is a very relaxed and casual environment offering buffet style breakfasts with fresh fruits, yogurt, ham, cheeses, breads and delicious cake, omelette or boiled eggs are available on request, breakfast can be eaten outside on the beautiful terrace or inside the garden room.|Our room 5 was very spacious, comfortable with upper level private terrace and amazing views.|Dinner is very special with excellent quality and creative menu, sitting outside on the terrace with views across the pool and gardens towards Ronda. We stayed for 3 nights and had originally planned to dine in for 2 and out for 1, but because it was so exceptional and so utterly relaxing and with excellent wines we actually enjoyed evening dinner for each of our 3 nights.|The Hotel is in an excellent location and we enjoyed visiting Ronda to see all the main sites, but also Setinel and Olvera. There is a nearby excellent Olive Oil producer which we didn’t have time to visit, wine tasting small tours would be another option and there are still more white villages that we would love to visit should we return in the future which we hope to do.|All the staff are very friendly, approachable, accommodating and welcoming. It really is the...

It’s official, we are addicted!! Just back yet again from our favourite country house hotel set within beautiful gardens and breath taking stunning scenery. Lovely welcome ‘home’ from the team of friendly staff making our stay as special as always with that personal touch.

Just put your feet up, relax and enjoy! What’s not to like? This is a characterful and unique property surrounded by flowers, fruit trees, lush greenery and olive groves. The 11 rooms & suites are individually decorated with interesting furniture, paintings and soft furnishings with splashes of different colours. Each has a terrace or patio which provides you a private sanctuary to lie back, read a book or enjoy a cool drink from the honesty bar whilst you dream about doing nothing…

Dinner is our highlight; we always dine in! This is fine dining which always delights with flavoursome local produce expertly and freshly prepared by the talented chefs. Instrumental music drifts across the warm air to the tables on the terrace set with lamps, elegant glassware and crisp linen. Excellent choice of local wines complements our experience as dusk falls, and the lights twinkle across the valley…

Sadly, there is no cure. We...

This is a wonderful retreat in the hills of Ronda. The hotel is beautiful, set in quiet gardens with flowers, lemon and orange trees. The suites are very comfortable, spacious, clean and fresh. The pool was a nice touch with quiet solitude after a day of biking. The food is excellent. I can't say enough about the meals here, every dish was presented nicely and was delicious. The chefs here are excellent, and the wait staff are very attentive and friendly with a great knowledge of the dishes, sources of the food and an excellent knowledge of the many fine wines they serve. Same day laundry was available. Every detail of our 4 night stay was perfect. We will return.

We absolutely loved our 2 night stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff was so kind and helpful to us both during and before our stay. They even helped arrange transportation for us from Córdoba to Ronda and from Ronda to our next stop, Sevilla. Our room was so beautiful and the mountain and valley views were unbelievable. We had our own private patio, coffee/tea in room, slippers and robes and a working fireplace. The breakfast served each morning offered eggs, coffee, assorted cheeses, freshly baked breads and jams, fruit, yogurt and cereal. We highly recommend staying here and also joining them for dinner during your stay - the food was delicious!
