My husband and I stayed here for two nights. From the moment our booking was Confirmed we knew we were in good hands! We were emailed with options of excursions close by which was a lovely touch. We pulled into the beautiful village and fell in love with the place. Our host was fantastic and welcoming providing us with so much knowledge and provided us with a pack of information to read at our leisure. The house is absolutely phenomenal, it's a treasure trove of beautiful and interesting pieces of furniture and artefacts. I spent the whole stay gathering ideas for my imaginary house in Spain! Our room was spectacular, beautiful and airy with lovely views. The room was large, clean with lovely smelling large towels! The bathroom is large and the shower was amazing! We went for dinner both nights to the local bar. One night we had the set menu which was beautiful and extremely filling! The second night we had tapas. We were made to feel very welcome and polished off some local wine which is also sold in the hotel. Breakfast in the hotel was amazing! You are looked after like family and it sets you up for the day! The eggs are divine! We had an absolutely wonderful stay and our hosts were so sweet and accommodating we would definitely recommend staying here! We definitely intend on...

Read moreThe reviews in TripAdvisor and other sites helped us decide to stay in this place rather than in Haro or Logroño and we are happy we made this decision. The Posada is beautifully decorated with antiques and was comfortable throughout our 3 night stay. Berta had plenty of tourist information on hand and many helpful recommendations for bodegas to visit and sites to see in the region. The town of Sajazarra is small but with free parking and a cute central square full of locals around the one restaurant on a summer evening. It is a well situated place for touring the Rioja wine area including the Southern Basque region and La Rioja. Haro and its great selection of Bodegas is less than a 15 minute drive. Briones and Laguardia are close wine towns too as are many historic cities on the Camino de Santiago. We also visited Vitoria-Gasteiz and Logroño from here. Don't pass on the breakfasts prepared by Enrique. They were a great start to each morning. Thank you for a most pleasant stay. We hope to...
