The most amazing experience in 30 years of travelling around the world: This place is absolutely outstanding, and not just because of the incredible location, house, gardens and amenities. What makes this place the best (by far) I have ever stayed in is the absolute gem hosts that run it. Vanesa and Pedro are a couple who are currently running this venue and they will make you feel like you are visiting the most amazing, generous and kind hearted relatives you ever had. The rooms are very spacious, incredibly clean and beautiful, furnished with antique furniture. Furthermore, if you are a group as we were and take the whole house, you get use of the whole building including a 17th century 'museum' kitchen, your own very functional and fully equipped modern kitchen and there are two beautiful garden areas to enjoy. There is also an incredible barn with gym equipment and bbq equipment. There are two additional houses for rent. The whole place with its own chapel is an absolutely beautiful venue. Vanesa is a fabulous cook who makes the most amazing traditional baking and any dish you ask for. The soups were to die for. Furthermore, she will accommodate everything you ask for including preparing packed lunches (best ever I have had), the most luscious breakfast, and anything you fancy for dinner. And you can choose to have it in your own kitchen or in one of the beautiful outdoor spaces or on their own bar. Do you want a drink, an infusion, a beer? You are on! Do you want advise on what to see or do, you have it. Do you want to have a chat with them and a laugh, or with the resident parrot, Pepa, who is hilarious? Also possible. Sufficient to say that for the first time in my life I cried when I left and so did Vanesa... such was the bond we formed with this wonderful family. La experiencia en casa de Vanesa y Pedro ha sido maravillosa, íbamos con las expectativas muy altas por los comentarios y la verdad es que las superaron con creces. Empecemos por la casa, es una casa con mucha historia, totalmente reformada, los muebles restaurados y la decoración elegida con muy buen gusto, todo ello crea un ambiente cómodo y agradable. Está todo IMPECABLE no hay ni una mota de polvo y eso que se encuentra en medio del campo. El enclave es muy bonito, situada en plena naturaleza rodeada de paz y tranquilidad. Seguimos con la comida, el desayuno es espectacular, pan artesano, miel de calidad, dulces caseros, queso de la zona, fruta y hortalizas de la huerta, infusiones, zumo de naranja, café... Si decides reservar cena, lo cual recomendamos encarecidamente, es totalmente una experiencia pero no quiero hacer spoiler.. Dejamos para el final a las personas, no por ser menos importante si no precisamente por todo lo contrario, ellos son sencillamente extraordinarios, amables, divertidos, humildes, humanos, muy generosos y eficaces en sus quehaceres. Han conseguido que tengamos una estancia inolvidable, mil GRACIAS por hacerlo posible.
