This is a beautiful old mill by the Duraton river. The hotel rooms are beatifully furbished with plenty of antique objects, showing great taste. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, especially Chema. As we did not know the Segovia area, he proposed routes and plans for each one of the days of our stay. It is possible to have lunch and dinner in the hotel, the food is great and the prices, very reasonable. On the flip side, the breakfast could be a bit better. This hotel used to be a river-mill long time ago. They have everything you need to enjoy a great weekend with your family and friends. We spent a weekend with some friends, all with kids, and we couldn't had a better experience there. They have a large place so kids can play around and a nice swimming pool. If you want to enjoy the river, they have pedal boats. Photos in their webpage do not credit the place which is really beautiful with large rooms and rustique decor. Cómo empezar? Tenis mesa reservada desde febrero para ir el 1 de junio. Les pedí una mesa que da al ventanal desde donde se ve el río y parte del cañón. Qué sorpresa tan grande cuando llegamos y nos sientan en otra mesa diciéndonos que la otra está reservada, estaba preparada para 4 comensales y nosotros éramos 2. Pero lo peor fue cuando les dije que yo tenía encargado cochinillo de segundo y me dicen que no tienen, uff, me comían los nervios, pero me calme y pedí cordero, tampoco tenían. Entiendo que los asados hay que encargarlos, pero yo tenía el mío encargado y me quedé sin él. Apareció una señora con la agenda y me enseñó que estaba apuntado para el domingo 2. Les dije que es un fallo de ellos y me dice que ellos nunca se equivocan. Error. La señora se empeñó en que no estaba equivocada y le dije si quería que le enseñará mis recordatorios del móvil donde lo tenía apuntado. No cedió en su idea pero cambió de actitud. Nos dijo que por deferencia nos darían la mesa que pedí, pero no estaba reservada? Después de todo ésto he de reconocer que todo cambió. Nos trajeron por parte de la casa casi una ración de croquetas, me invitaron a mi postre, y a mí segundo café. La comida? La verdad es que bastante buena, los huevos rotos con lomo de la olla, los dos tipos de croquetas, de jamón y de bacalao, creo, el bacalao con pisto y el entrecot, que lo pedí hecho algo menos de al punto, y así lo trajeron.
