My experience at Casa Sanui was absolutely incredible! The building itself is a stunning medieval-style castle, nestled in the heart of the mountains. It’s like stepping into a different era, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.
The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with everything you need, including a kitchen with all the essentials to prepare your own meals. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the entire stay feel special.
One of the best parts of the location is its proximity to amazing hiking trails—perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
However, a couple of things to keep in mind for future guests: There are no restaurants nearby, so be sure to stock up at the supermarket and prepare your own meals. Also, the roads can be quite dark at night, so it’s important to drive carefully, especially if you're not familiar with the area.

We stayed here with our family — 3 adults and an 8-year-old child. We were absolutely thrilled with this place! The view is stunning, it’s peaceful and quiet, with fresh air all around.
The rooms are lovely — a comfortable bed and a sofa that turns into a full double bed with a proper mattress. The hosts are incredibly kind and responsive — they answered all our questions even on a weekend evening, so we could settle in with ease.
The room has everything you need: plenty of dishes, everything is clean, practical and works well. It’s a beautiful space inside a charming 18th-century house.
We truly enjoyed every part of our stay — the views, the welcoming hosts, the cozy atmosphere. Later we took a walk into town, which was also magical.

Een verborgen parel in Spanje – absolute aanrader!
Boek dit – dat is zonder twijfel ons beste advies voor iedereen die houdt van het echte Spanje, ver weg van het massatoerisme. Casa Sanui ligt in een adembenemende omgeving, met spectaculaire uitzichten achter elke bocht. Wij verbleven vijf nachten en hadden het geluk om in twee van de vier prachtig gerenoveerde appartementen te mogen overnachten.
Eigenaresse Gemma heeft van deze eeuwenoude toren op een rots een unieke, luxe en tegelijk heerlijk ontspannen plek gemaakt. De combinatie van historie, comfort en natuur is werkelijk bijzonder – je waant je in een plek die je normaal alleen op Instagram of TikTok ziet.
En dan het warme ontvangst… Wat een gastvrijheid! “Opa” Pau was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zijn begeleiding maakte onze ervaring extra speciaal.
