From the moment we arrived, the staff were superb and friendly. Our accommodation was a Marina with A/C for our family of 4. It was clean and served us very well for the 11 days we were there. We had a concern about the mattress on our bed and within 15 minutes we were supplied with a brand new one. Wonderful service!! ||The pools were very close by and there was plenty of space for everyone. They were spotless and very well maintained. I was very impressed with the standards throughout the grounds. Staff were always exceptionally helpful. We rented Kayaks and had a wonderful time on the water. ||We bought fresh croissants and bread every morning from the restaurant and they were superb! Shop on site has all the essentials so you are never stuck. Rubbish and Recycling facilities available so you are never stuck with smelly bins in your accommodation.||I would recommend car rental as you then have the freedom to explore the area and do a proper shop in the many supermarkets near by.||Our children had a blast and enjoyed the day and evening entertainment. Especially the magician! Although, having their Mum on the stage pretending to be a fish at the Star Wars night came a close second :-)||It was our first year having this type of holiday with our family and it certainly will not be the last one!||We are already looking to book...
Read moreI have visited the campsite in the end of July for 10 nights. It is very clean and very organised place to stay in despite few water and electricity outages couple of times. |Receptionists are lovely and very helpful. Mobile homes are on a small side but contains everything that you need. Only spacing between them could be more private otherwise no complains.|Campsite serves good selection of foods during the entertainment that are good quality. Also makes fresh bread and crossaints each morning. The shop has all essentials and it is not overpriced.|Sant Pere Pescador is a small town and not much to do. There are great places to eat out and couple of shops there as well. Can Trona was our favourite restaurant as it provides great food and service.|There couple of cycling tracks of the road but certainly not the best area for extensive cycling. |Beach is lovely, can be breezy at times but its very wide and shallow so great for kids.|If you staying there visit Rosas, L'escala and Cadaques and Cap De Creus is a must. |Beautiful area but in order to see things need to drive around a lot. Also feels that Netherlands have invaded the area as they...
Read moreWe went to this camping with 2 small children and had a good time. The pool is fun and safe and the animation crew has plenty of activities scheduled every day. The beach is a 5 min. drive away. ||||The tents (we stayed in a Woody glampingtent) are clean and comfortable and the staff at the reception is friendly and helpful. You can hear every sound from other people's tents but that's not a big deal. ||||But then there's the restaurant/bakery. Better eat somewhere else folks because beside the subpar food, you might encounter a waiter called "Zacharia" or something who has an attitude like every single small effort is too big a task for him. He's just standing at the bar with a grumpy face instead of serving people sitting at the terrace. When asking for croissants (unavailable 75% of the time in mornings) it's just "No." instead of "Not right now, but we can bake more if you have 10 minutes to spare". The bread tasted great though.||||Better walk into Sant Pere Pescador; there's plenty of good...
