To check in, you actually have to go to Casa Ancieto which is a restaurant/bar attached to the guesthouse around the corner. Go to the bar and tell them you’re there for Casa Gabriela. They’ll then lead you to the check in area. Unsurprisingly, they don’t speak English which is to be expected in a small guest house in a village. We managed to communicate, though.||You’ll get a set of keys for your room and for the entrance to the guest house so you don’t have to go through the restaurant every time you want to go in and out.||Parking is available but you have to call them to open the gate. I called but the guy never opened it so I just parked my car outside. The village is pretty dead so I felt that the car would be safe (it was).||The room itself is basic but spotless. There’s no air conditioning but it got pretty cold at night (end of May) so it was fine for sleeping. ||They give you 2 little sachets of shower gel per person which is barely enough.
