Sunset Lodge Guesthouse — Hotel in Santiago del Teide

A superb place and a high-class host! We had planned to stay there for only two nights, but it was so comfortable there, that we decided to stay one more longer (couldn't afford more, because our plan for a trip across Tenerife was quite strict ;)). The interior design is great, everything is a brand new and you can event get lost like in a labyrinth :D Also a place for barbeque, a terrace for star-watching lovers. The sunset lodge is located in a village in the mountains. Our room was on the first floor. There is enough space for sitting outside on the rooftop. Since the house is located at about 570 m over sea level, it's much colder than at the sea and can get quite cold during night in November. We were actually missing a heater. We did not have a pleasant experience in this House. We changed rooms twice in 13 days. The first room (n 7) had mold on the wall and no Windows with natural light. The second room (n 9) had leaks during rains. And the first room was finally ok. Positive things: owners Friendly and nice and close...
