La Casa de la Montaña was the peaceful and homey space I needed! ⛰️🧘🏽‍♀️🏠 When I came across Anouk's listing I was instantly drawn to how lovingly decorated and homey the space looked in pictures and from my initial contact with Anouk and telling her my desires for my stay, she quickly responded saying everything I wanted to hear. From Yoga in the mountains, a loving local village with everything you could need within walking distance, (Restaurants, bakery, groceries) a home away from home and amazing wifi to enjoy some peace and quite while still getting my work done. I truly loved my stay and felt completely relaxed and cared for especially coming in as a solo women traveling to a country I was visiting for the first time. So no doubt this place is phenomenal but what really left a lasting impression is Anouks hospitality and genuine care! You are in for a treat when you are a guest in Anouk's casa. She made an effort to meet me personally and helped with my luggage. She is a very kind, supportive, and cheerful person. She has gone above and beyond to give me a wonderful stay, providing helpful suggestions for the area and making me feel at home.

She came up with satisfying solutions when tiny problems showed up and was always available via Messenger, which gives a good feeling when you are in a place where you don't know anyone. Both the home and the village are cosy and welcoming. The rooftop terrace and honesty bar are luxurious gems which added to a great experience - both for working and chilling.

There are places that are nice and clean. Places that you enjoy or places that leave you wondering… (what happened here..;). But this place is truly something special. It makes you feel at home. It’s fresh and cozy decor and beautiful location will relax and excite you at the same time. It’s spotless, fully equipped and very comfortable. The hostess is kind, thoughtful and funny (very important, because …. holiday :-)). Staying here will make you feel loved and seen. Not only the hostess but the entire town is just adorable. Just go and visit this place, you won’t be sorry....
