La Fàbrica Casa Rural — Hotel in Senterada

We stayed for the weekend to go hiking at Mont-rebei gorge. We had a really fantastic stay - it felt like a proper vacation getting away from the fast paced city life, and wandering around the farm chatting with the goats, ducks, chickens and dogs and listen to the water of the river running past. The hosts were really lovely people who gave us a tour of the fabrica and told us all about the history of the place and local area. They also put our a lovely breakfast for us by the open fire place both days which was so cosy and inviting. Due to covid lockdowns all restaurants and bars are closed so our lovely hosts made a dinner for us on the Saturday night which was delicious! I had one of the juiciest hamburgers I’ve had in ages and my partner had a cheese and walnut salad and escalivada toast. YUM! Very nice place to stay. It's surprising. Very nice owners who make your staying more than comfortable. Nice food. The swimming pool is very nice because it's filled with water from the river. We really had a nice time there. We don't doubt to come back...

Un sitio perfecto para pasar una tarde o diez días. Nosotros optamos por lo segundo, lo usamos de base para ir a las tres entradas de Aigüestortes (Vall de Boí, Cabdella y Espot) así como para bajar hacia Àger y el Congost de Mont Rebei. Habitación espaciosa (la nuestra eran dos realmente), desayuno que difícilmente encontrarás mejor, posibilidad de cocinar también tú si quieres. No os perdáis la pesca (y comerte lo que pescas), ni la visita a la antigua fábrica textil. Y por favor, no dejéis de tratar con los dueños, grandes anfitriones y mejores personas. Un beso para...
