We booked a 4 night stay here through Expedia / hotels.com. The information on the website said the room accommodates 4 people so we booked for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children). All told, this review has two parts, the issues we experienced and what the hotel did about them. Both are important and I’d argue the later may be even more important.||Upon arrival, everything was lovely. The staff greeted us with a warm welcome (including a welcome drink) and the property was beautiful. But during check in, we were told we would have to pay 35€ extra per night for an extra guest. Strange, since we even showed the staff the email confirmation from the third party showing 4 people.||We were then taken to our room which was near the main restaurant / bar area (in the section of the numbers 7,8,9 cluster of rooms). The floors were creaky but we didn’t think anything of it. We quickly changed and got ready to go hang out in the beautiful pool area.||The pool area is truly beautiful. Amazing views, large pool, plenty of area to lounge, and a bar. We spent the afternoon here and it was truly lovely. Our kids had a blast.||Upon returning to our room, we had no hot water. Our kids were showering and dripping wet when we discovered this fact. We informed the staff and the manager (a bearded younger man) told us he would come check it out. He came in (our kids still screaming bloody murder and wet!) and sure enough it was not fixed. He advised it would work in 30 minutes and told us we could shower in the spa. I take the kids there (no real privacy as people are walking around and there’s no real place to leave towels or clothes other than the gym). I also showered there and my partner opted to wait.||We then left to get dinner (we’re gone a couple of hours). Upon return I ask he gentlemen if water is hot now and he says yes. So my partner hops in the shower and…..NO HOT WATER!!! 3 hours after the issue is identified. I’m livid and I go and tell the same manager lead that this is ridiculous and I ask for a manager - he disagrees and said it happens when multiple people shower at the same time. He tells me he’s the highest ranking person and there is no one else to ask for help.||Anyways, I ask him what he can do to make it right and he says he can comp our breakfast for the family for the entire stay and that he will speak with the owner about an additional discount. I thought that was nice enough so I go back to the room and we all go to bed. My partner did not want to trek across the property in the dark to shower or pack up all our things and change rooms at night.||Now I’d normally say this experience was the worst and that would be a bad review. But being in the service industry, I know things go wrong and I actually thing hoteliers can show their true colors AFTER a mistake. In this case, even though I wasn’t happy with the gentleman’s approach but the next day the message clearly made it to leadership because we were treated very well. At breakfast, a woman even approached us and said another room was ready for us and we would not be charged any extra person fees. I even saw the gentlemen with the beard later in the day and he was super nice and pleasant and asked if we were happy. A WIN. I think in this case that the hotel made up for their mistake with help, spectacular treatment, and monetary compensation with breakfast. ||The property is super nice and food is good as well. We had dinner there one night and breakfast every day. Overall, a great stay in a great location with access to many cool calas/ beaches.||Kudos to the whole team for recovering from an issue and treating us like royalty...
Read moreDon't waste your money staying at this horrible hotel. We arrived here a bit early on the day of check in. Since our room wasn't ready yet we decided to take the bikes the hotel says it provides to a near by town. First off all the bikes are extremely old and haven't been serviced in years. We took two that looked the best out of the slim options. As we were riding into town my husbands tire went flat and his breaks stopped working. He almost got hit by a car cause he couldn't stop. We then had to walk back to the hotel pushing the bikes up hill in heat. When we got back our luggage was still outside not somewhere safe and not in the room that should have been ready at that point. When we told the staff about the dangerous situation and about the state of all of their bikes they didn't care. This also now put a wrench in the idea of us biking around the area and to all the close beaches during our stay. All hotels in this area provide bikes and most electronic bikes on top of that. This hotel has false advertising. They also are more like a 1 star hotel not the 4 they claim. At this point we hadn't gotten our room yet so we decided we didn't want to stay here anymore now that we couldn't use their bikes and how they dealt with the situation. I asked to cancel and get our money back. They said that wasn't possible and kept our money which was over a thousand dollars. They also marked us as a no show to the app we booked the hotel through so we couldn't write a review. I'm an avid traveler and this hotel is the most unprofessional place I've ever ALMOST stayed. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else in the area like the bikini island and mountain hotel es trenc. That's where we moved to and they went above and beyond making up for the terrible experience at Finca hotel. The bikini hotel had brand new electronic bikes, paddle boards to use for free, and you're right on the water with sunset view versus in the middle of no where. I would never ever recommend Finca to...

Our experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. Here are the main issues we encountered:
Shower and Noise Issues The shower was barely warm. Although our room was spacious, the old wooden floor made disturbing noises, which upset the guests below us. They came up twice, clearly frustrated, and we felt threatened despite only wanting to enjoy our night. We tried to be respectful, but the noise was unbearable. On a positive note, the staff did provide a refund afterward, but overall, I never felt relaxed during our stay. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, which was a mixed blessing. When I requested the refund, they suggested marking it as a "no show," seemingly trying to prevent me from leaving a review. I've included several pictures and videos for reference. I strongly advise potential guests to think twice before booking.
Breakfast Experience The breakfast options were limited and not very appealing. The staff did not approach us to ask about our coffee preferences, and there was a lack of explanation regarding the breakfast menu.
Broken Facilities The hotel facilities appeared outdated and poorly maintained, making it feel more like a three-star establishment rather than the quality advertised. Although I only paid £110, it felt like a scam given the condition of the property.
Nice View On a positive note, the view from the hotel was lovely, and I've attached pictures for you to see.
Staff Issues Some staff members were rude. We did not receive the room we booked; instead, we were given an older, rustier room on the opposite side of the hotel. The TV was small but did have Netflix. Additionally, there was no complimentary water in the room, and I had to pay £3 for a bottle.
Final Recommendation. If you're considering this hotel, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Based on our experience, it feels...
