nice and modern design. the dorm can be darkened properly. check-in for the dorm is already possible at 11am which is nice on hot days. good Wifi. tasty food in the bar. pleasent temperature in the dorm even when it's 30⁰C outside.

the bunk beds are rather stable. You feel it somewhat in the lower bed when the person in the upper bed moves.

negative things are: only 1 out of 8 beds in the dorm has a power socket the friendliness can be improved, especially regarding the cleaning lady who also works at the bar. it would be nice if the hotel would use punctuation in their whatsapp messages in order to understand them better. my question regarding the checkout time remained unanswered on whatsapp. in the morning the cleaning lady suddenly said i must leave the room immediately.

Great location when travelling to ferry ports and a lovely medieval town. The hotel has been converted and most of the original features are still intact, e.g. the original timber beams above the window in our room. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient, we were even remembered by the manager from our stay last year and welcomed back.|The evening meal is very good quality and value and the breakfast is also good, 4.50 euros each for toast, with butter and jam plus coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. One night stay as part of our Camino walk. The hotel and room were good and with WiFi. No air conditioning in rooms. There is no lift but our bags were carried up for us. Everything was very clean and well presented. It has a bar / restaurant underneath and a beautiful courtyard at the back, paved and grass where you can enjoy a drink in the afternoon sun, read a book, meet other pilgrims. There is a washing machine so you can do your own washing and there are clothes horses to dry your clothes. Breakfast was average and I recommend you walk to the next town to have breakfast.
