Visited 13/06/25 - An absolute gem on the Camino Primitivo, we stopped for a hearty lunch/few beers and were surrounded by other pilgrims enjoying their afternoon. Our only regret is not spending the night.
The bar is well stocked and frequented by locals, plenty of seating inside and out. There is a grocery section in the rear which is plentiful to stock up before The Hospitales. All the staff were friendly, service was quick and the athmosphere was welcoming.
They have a section to pickup Camino paraphernalia from Badges, Pins, Flags, Maps and souvenirs which we bought a few badges from.

Now let's talk about something important, Casa Herminia is one of the last places, -if you are thinking of going through Hospitales-, to buy supplies for the next day. The restaurant has a small market, where you will find all you need. This was the first day we transported our back packs so we were directed next door where the Albergue was to find they had arrived. A small on-site store had snacks ( healthy and not), souvenirs, thick socks, laundry detergent, lotions,etc. Peregrino lunch was at 1 and was enough food for twice the people we had! All delicious, regional and tasted home made. Our room was sparkling clean, two beds moved together, a nice updated bathroom. Hot water! Shampoo and body wash in individual packets.
