Hospederia Sagasta — Hotel in Torrecilla en Cameros

We found this hotel by chance on the road to Logrono. We wanted somehwere convenient for the port of Bilbao and where we woudl have a peaceful pleasant last night of our holiday - a motorcycle tour of Spain.||This place completely exceeded our expectationsfitted. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable in a lovely mountain setting. We had a very friendly reception and enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of the hospederia and of the village - which we discovered was clebrating a local festival. This was a great way to end our holday and were really appreciated the wonderful time we spent here. ||||Highlights: being offered local cheese and bacon sandwiches and a cup of Rioja in the village square in the evening. Eating dinner with the villagers in the local restaurant (with the Real Madrid-Dortmund game projected on the wall!). The vllage band in the morning doing the rounds getting people into the festival mood. Having a wooden donkey moved in the garage to make room...

Mi experiencia en este hotel no se parece en nada a la de todas las reseñas anteriores. Para mí y mi familia, nuestra estadía fue mala. El dueño del hotel nos recibió con pocas ganas, y mucha prisa, porque estaba pendiente de atender su restaurante (ubicado a 200 metros del hostal) y no a los huéspedes. Luego de esperar un buen rato en la puerta, apareció con mucha prisa para indicarnos dónde estaban las habitaciones. Entonces nos dijo que debiamos ir a la 2da. planta por escalera, es decir no habían atendido a mis requisitos/ peticiones cuando hice la reserva por internet. Aquí el gran problema, porque uno de nosotros tenia movilidad reducida. En ese momento de gran desilusión para mi y mi familia, este señor lo único que ofreció es que nos fuéramos a pasar la noche a Logroño y rápidamente quería deshacerse de nosotros. Le dijimos que no podía dejarnos sin alojamiento a las 9 de la noche, luego de más de 7 horas de viaje. Entonces decidimos quedarnos y hacer el mayor esfuerzo por subir a la segunda planta. Pero esto no fue todo: a la mañana síguente fuimos a desayunar a su restaurante y nos encontramos con el precio más alto que se pueda imaginar por una simple rebanada de pan de cereal tostada, 2 euros!! Si señores, increíble!!! Una simple tostada, un zumo y un café por casi 7 euros!!! Esto es hacer el agosto! Conclusión: no recomiendo este hostal por más cama buena y limpia que tenga. La hospitalidad y el buen trato deben primar por encima de todo y en el Hostal...
