Sometimes ratings and good pics are quite misleading. So we thought place is good and decided to continue our stay/got it confirmed. Next day they started pushing us to pay through their payment gateways instead of normal POS/booking.com (like I woke up with half a dozen of messages asking when we'll pay.. well I'm not Lebowski haha). after their quite strange way to pay didn't work (my respected bank opinion) we agreed to pay cash later after we get to ATM. so moments after we agreed their funny-mood owner called me personally and started yelling (or she was actually crying, I didn't really understand, it was a mix of funny words and language) and demanding to pay right-now. While we just agreed with their staff that we'd pay cash later lol. Once I heard the tone - I saw it's last place & atmosphere to stay with pregnant wife, though we were thinking to be there for a week or more to mentally relax/chill in their cold-water pool after a month of being in "hot" war country (we're from well-known these days, Eastern Ukraine). So I literally had to evacuate my family again because it's not a place I can call secure. Or at least having serious questions to level of happiness there.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit traumhafter Aussicht
Unser Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnungsanlage war rundum perfekt. Die Anlage liegt idyllisch auf einem Berg und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick ins Tal und auf das etwas entfernte Meer – der ideale Ort für Erholungssuchende!
Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich nett, immer präsent und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie gaben uns wertvolle Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Ausflugszielen in der Umgebung, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte.
Die sieben Ferienwohnungen sind klein, aber dafür äußerst sauber und liebevoll im traditionellen andalusischen Stil eingerichtet. Obwohl die meisten Unterkünfte für zwei Personen ausgelegt sind, hatten wir das Glück, in den Wohnungen 2 und 6 unterzukommen, da der Rest der Anlage ausgebucht war.
Die Terrassen der einzelnen Wohnungen sind nicht sehr groß, aber es gibt einen großen zentralen Tisch, an dem man wunderbar sein Essen genießen kann. Alternativ lädt der Balkon mit Blick auf das Tal und das Meer zu entspannten Stunden ein. Wer lieber im Schatten bleibt, kann sich unter den mediterranen Pflanzen zurückziehen und ein Buch lesen.
Die Strände sind mit dem Auto in etwa 15 km zu erreichen, was für uns absolut in Ordnung war. Für alle, die nicht ans Meer möchten, bietet der schöne Pool eine hervorragende Alternative zum Entspannen.
Insgesamt eine wunderschöne, ruhige Anlage, die wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Our stay at this holiday apartment complex was absolutely perfect. The property is idyllically situated on a hill, offering a stunning view of the valley and the slightly distant sea – the ideal place for those seeking relaxation!
The hosts were incredibly friendly, always available, and very helpful. They provided us with valuable tips for sightseeing, restaurants, and activities in the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The seven apartments are small but extremely clean and lovingly decorated in a traditional Andalusian style. Although most accommodations are designed for two people, we were lucky to stay in apartments 2 and 6, as the rest of the complex was fully booked.
The terraces of the individual apartments are not very large, but there is a large central table where you can enjoy your meal. Alternatively, the balcony with its view of the valley and sea offers a relaxing spot for some downtime. For those who prefer the shade, there are Mediterranean plants under which you can retreat and read a book.
The beaches are about 15 km away by car, which was perfectly fine for us. For anyone who doesn't want to go to the beach, the lovely pool is a great alternative for relaxation.

Casa Bambu is a completely idyllic place to stay. It really feels like a remote resort but you are also only a 5-10 minute drive from shops / restaurants/ bars etc, but we mostly just stocked up and then made the most of being somewhere so beautiful. The pool and terraces are very well looked after, and you are reminded that you must do your bit in keeping the communal areas clean, tidy and peaceful as it is not a hotel, but more of a home away from home/AirBnB. I think this is why it’s such good value for money as you feel like you are staying in a 5* location but you will not be waited on hand and foot - which is completely understandable, and who really needs that!
