Without question, the most unique and special place we have ever booked. We spent 5 nights at Casa Azul at the end of May with the view of visiting the north of the island and mountains. The property is on bus route where it’s easy to travel to neighbouring San Mateo, Tejeda or up to the trail for Roque Nublo/ Pico de Nieves. There are also buses to Las Palmas and beach resorts in the south. Casa Azul itself, is a 2 bedroomed ground floor apartment/ cave house which has been renovated to a high standard. Debbie and Carl have thought of absolutely everything you could need for your stay. Lovely shower and robes, well fitted kitchen with all the utensils you might need. There are cereals, home made jams and hot drinks for breakfast. Fruit and a juicer to make fresh juice every day which was amazing. Fresh eggs were enjoyed daily by us! On days were we were too tired to cook, Debbie offers an ‘all inclusive’ option where you can purchase home cooked meals, Id particularly recommend the Caza Azul mixed grill! Evenings can be spent relaxing and looking out over the mountains, enjoying the views above the cloud line. Debbie and Carl have 2 gorgeous friendly dogs, who greeted us each day with wagging tails and were quite happy to sit and relax with us in the evening. I always miss my dogs when I’m away from home so it was great to have doggy cuddles on holiday, Bleu and Cassie were an absolute delight and very friendly! Oh and I have to mention the beds!!!! I slept for 11 hours my first night at Casa Azul, the bed was so comfortable, I had planned to get up to watch the sunrise but I missed it. We had 5 nights in this amazing place and only scratched the surface of the amount of places to visit in the north of Gran Canaria.Debbie and Carl are amazing hosts who go above and beyond to ensure guests make the very most of their time here, whether it’s last minute meals or advice on local walking trails. Returning here is an...

Facilities were excellent, spacious and beautifully decorated. The twin and double rooms were complimented by a very comfortable lounge and well stocked kitchen. High speed Internet was fantastic for children and adults alike - good to know I could work there if staying for a longer period.
Great location for exploring the island with ample secure parking. Views were amazing, overlooking the mountains. Enjoyed the BBQ, Hot Tub and outdoor terrace.
Roads take a bit of getting used to, but you're on a mountaneous island so you should expect twists and turns. Everywhere is well maintained and there are extensive barriers.
Debbie and Carl were friendly and informative hosts. They really made us...

A beautifully renovated and cozy apartment with special charm.
The hostess is exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. She’s very Camino-friendly, always ready to help, and it’s a real pleasure to talk with her. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel truly welcome.
We had both dinner and breakfast, and everything was perfect.
She also has a very friendly dog. Before letting her into the courtyard, she kindly asked if we were okay with dogs. The dog was well-behaved, playful, and smart — she never entered the apartment or even came too close to the table. Not a single hair inside!
A wonderful place to stay, and an even more wonderful hostess. Highly...
