I cannot say enough about this venue and the professionalism they have presented throughout all of COVID, but I will try…
Our wedding was originally planned for Oct 2020, but due to Covid, we had to change our plans. The venue was very accommodating and understanding regarding a change of date and it was as simple as an email pushing it back a whole year. Compared to my other friends rescheduling in the US, this was a breeze with all of our vendors and the venue. They were also very understanding regarding last minute changes for our guests as COVID and traveling changed many plans.
When we finally reached Casa la Siesta two weeks ago, we were welcomed with such hospitality that we felt right at home. The team of staff were so kind, accommodating and wonderful and service was top notch (we were welcomed with a glass of cava right as we entered!)!! The team at Casa la Siesta took care of all the small details with wedding day set up that I was super calm as a bride and even able to enjoy the whole day! I was able to savor time with family and friends and could not be more thankful. I would trust them with their creative choices with set up, flowers, decor and overall esthetics- they truly know what they are doing! We are also glad to have coordinated to add a jamon cutter and churros and chocolate cart to enhance our Spanish wedding at Casa la Siesta! They’re recommendations for photographer and videographer were also on point!
We are foodies and we chose Casa la Siesta partially for its focus on local, seasonal menus. The quality of food was absolutely fresh, delicious and amazing from breakfast to extra meals at the Casa to the wedding day itself and BBQ the day after (I wish I could have their breakfast everyday!!). The kitchen was so accommodating to even open up to serve some family the night before the wedding when they were too tired to leave after a day of traveling. The team was also very detailed to plan for lunch on the wedding day and even order dinner when the kitchen was closed the day after the wedding.
As for the venue itself, the photos will never do complete justice and you’d have to really take it all in when you are there. The smells, sounds and beauty are a whole package. The grounds are rustic and well cared for (the Jasmine smells amazing!) and it is situated close to the charming hill town of Vejer de la Frontera, a cute town for guests to stay at. The Casa has wonderful recommendations for in town hotels and our guests were happy.
Overall, we had a great experience all around (could you not tell? ;D) and look forward to visiting again some time in the future! Thank you Casa la Siesta for making our wedding and stay...
Read moreLast year we (my fiancé and I) travelled around Andalusia and found this lovely place for the first time. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with It.
Casa La Siësta really is a perfect place for relaxation, pampering and great food. It’s close to the lovely town Vejer de la frontera and beautiful beaches. You do need a car to travel around!
As it’s a small hotel, you receive very personal service from the lovely staff who do everything to make you feel comfortable. From the moment you step a first foot in it, Alejandra and Delphine immediate make you feel very welcome and at home. The rooms are stunning (we stayed in room 3 and 6. Be aware that some of the rooms and suites have sort of an open toilet, which could be a bit awkward for some people). But that really is the only thing that is less perfect. The pool is really nice as it’s a salt water bath. I also took a massage and that’s really a huge recommendation.
We felt in love with the casa and decided to get married there in October 2022. At first we felt a bit nervous about planning a wedding abroad (we live in the Netherlands) as we cannot visit the venue often. However, Nuria, the lovely director of the casa, helped us with all the coordination and planning of the wedding! She was really professional, speaks fluently English and Spanish, and always available for every question or worry we’ve had and organised everything we needed: from the photographer to flowers to DJ equipment.
When we arrived in the days before the wedding we had a chaotic start as we had problems with our luggage. By arrival, Delphine, one of the lovely staff members did not hesitate to help us and call the airport and solved our problem. This meant a lot for us as we were really nervous for our wedding.
2 weeks ago our wedding took place and it truly was a dream come true. Apart from the beautiful setting it was so special to have all your beloved ones close to you in the casa and celebrate the love! The food was amazing, thanks to Connie and her colleagues who took good care of all our wishes and difficult food allergy’s.
All of our guests who stayed at the casa felt in love with the place. Nuria even helped us organising other places to stay for our other guests. This was really helpful for us as its always difficult to decide from the photos/internet if a place is suitable for accommodating your wedding guests.
In short: the casa received a special place in our heart and we will try to come every year. A great place for friends and families! Thank you for everything and hopefully...
