The whole experience in the hotel was horrendous. The hotel is going through renovations, and some rooms are new and nice and others are straight back from the 70s with uncomfortable beds and small ancient bathrooms. There are a lot of photos of the renovated rooms on Booking, and only a couple of the older ones that were shot in amazing light and probably edited because they absolutely do not look like the photos. No AC or even a ventilator. Smelled very weird when we came in. In any case, we stayed because in the end of the day we paid for it, it was old but clean. Then the night comes, the walls are extra thin. We could hear every person walking in the corridor, countless kids crying on the floor, drunk people coming back from partying at 4 am, people going to the bathroom and flushing the toilets… The hotel is pet-friendly but unfortunately pets cannot choose their owners. We saw one dog urinating on the newly-renovated terrace and it looked like the owner let it go out of the room specifically for this reason and it wasn’t the first time since it smelled bad there. To finish commenting on our stay, breakfast was fine, but the coffee was absolutely undrinkable, we ended up going to the cafe next door. Go to Booking and look for bad reviews with pictures to see what you’ll be getting if they give you an old room. As I understand, people who gave this hotel a 10 were staying in the new rooms far from screaming kids and peeing dogs. Location was...
Read more😊: Perfect location just in front of a nice beach. Rooms are fresh (also AC is available but not really needed), silent, and dark: the perfect combination to sleep well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Cleaning is outstanding and done every day. Extremely good value for money.. 😢: The breakfast (included) is fair enough but should be improved, especially the coffee, to be at the same level of the rest. By the way, the coffe in such big carraffes is just terrible. Yet, the hotel have a functioning cafetteria in the same room, with a good coffee machine, so it is just a matter of make it functioning. More local products and better quality cheese and cold cuts would be commendable, also to elevate the...
Read moreThe walls of the rooms are too thin so you hear every time any guest goes to the toilet, opens the door or even moves a chair. The beds are low quality. The location is great, right across the bridge. the staff is very welcoming and friendly, from the receptionist, to the kitchen to the cleaners, they were all very nice. We got a small discount of 4euros per night by booking by phone with them directly instead of online. For a one star hotel it was better than expected, the biggest annoyance is the poor noise insulation. The beds are typically 1,35. We asked them to put two 0,90cm beds together. Some rooms are renovated. They’re more modern but still have the...
