Sunset villa
Wow, nothing short of remarkable.
This executive villa, nestled at the base of the stunning Montgo Mountain is everything is claims to be and more.
Firstly before we even arrived the communication from Ellie and Nic was outstanding and they were so accommodating to our needs a huge thanks from all of us.
From the moment you arrive there is an immediate wow factor! The welcome basket was a lovely touch to start.
The facilities are exceptional. In amongst the immaculately manicured gardens sits an outstanding tennis court, a football pitch, two lovely areas for relaxing (or circuits/yoga as we used them!!). This is supplemented by a games room with a pool table and darts as well as an exercise bike and some light weights. The floodlights ensured these were accessible from dawn to dusk.
The pool side area met every single need. From the outside kitchen (we ate here predominately), the fridge for beers and drinks to the newly finished toilet, It catered for every need. The swimming pool and whirl pool were perfect too, with ample seating around the outside as well as having areas of cover to have a rest bite from the sun.
The house itself was a dream. Ground floor houses a large bedroom with en suite, which could fit 4 singles with ease. To the first floor there is a huge bespoke kitchen/family room which opens to the balcony which has a range of seating and a table tennis facility. It was ideal for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The views across the valley are breathtaking. Four double bedrooms were on this floor, two with en-suite as well as a family bathroom. To the second floor was another double bedroom with a stunning sun terrace.
The Villa is about 5KM from the old town which has some stunning restaurants. The recommendations from Ellie were spot on, El Goucho (about 3/4mins in car) was superb as was the tapas in the old town by the church. Arenal beach is about 6.5KM but an easy drive and has dozens of restaurants and bars.
We ventured over to Dénia and El Portet beaches which are stunning also.
Without doubt this is the best Villa we have visited and without question we will...

One of the standout features of Sunset Villa is its ability to cater to all ages. The swimming pool provided hours of entertainment and relaxation, while the padel and tennis courts offered a fun way to stay active. The communal areas were perfect for socialising and spending quality time together, both indoors and outdoors. The outside terrace (Naya) was a lovely feature that provided shelter, views and comfort.

Read moreDuring the half term holiday in May my husband and I stayed at Sunset Villa with our three children and two other families. There were fourteen of us in total. It was a dream break. The villa has something for everyone and easily accommodated us all with room to spare. The children enjoyed endless games of tennis and football when not in the pool. It is a safe and secure environment which meant that the adults could properly relax while the kids played. We made regular use of the outside cooking and eating facilities during the stay. Opting to alternate eating in at the villa with eating out at some of the excellent local restaurants. The market in Xabia is worth visiting and the old town is picturesque with plenty of tapas bars and independently owned shops to drop into. We would love to return one day. The villa was spotlessly clean and very well managed by Nick and Ellie who couldn’t have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for a truly memorable holiday. Jessica, Adam, Mollie,...
