Enoch Guest House — Hotel in Mannar Island

Family based homestay with all the requirements you want... very nice food, with nice cozy room facility, specially a very clean bathroom, separate entrance. It is not just a room very nice apartment with living area and tea making area... the owners are very friendly. they will do whatever you want to be happy and also they provide good information about the area.

Even if you are a solo traveler or girls very safe place as the owners are very nice people and a family.

Parking facilities are also available.

You can stay even more then two three days as it is away from the town busy area and you can relax yourself. If you want something the owner will bring them for you or you can hire his scooty-bike for your requirements for a reasonable price.

And should not forget the donkeys around as you can see many wild donkeys around.

Mannar and Madu church were new to us. We found Enoch guest house through Google. It was our best find and left us with cherished memories. Located in a green village atmosphere, away from hooting horns and with soothing clucking of hens, we felt at home with the caring hospitality of the family.

The apartment upstairs consists of a small reception and an open kitchen type with facility to prepare tea/coffee. A large bedroom and an attached washroom all were clean and surprisingly without mosquitoes that we could keep all windows open at night.

The food was simple Sri Lankan Jaffna food and the fish curry was out of the world. All our small requests were attended to by the owner Mr. Lalee and his family. It was only a short stay, but we owe them this review and much more.

We had an amazing stay at Enoch guest house for one night. The owners Lalee and Suba are the friendliest people ever. The location was easily accessible. They made our stay there, feel as our own home. They had prepared a nice dinner on our request. Had a friendly chat after the dinner about mannar life and all. The best homestay ever. The room, bathroom and living room were clean, comfy and safe. Clean pillows, bedsheets were provided. The room is same as it is shown in the website pics. It was a very comfortable stay in a City like Mannar. Thank you very much for making out trip...
