Ashlyn & Abigail Mango Mansion — Hotel in Sri Lanka

We stayed at Mangoandion as a large family group for two nights and had a great experience overall. The hotel is very comfortable and located in a super convenient area, which made getting around easy and stress-free.

The family rooms were impressively spacious and cozy—perfect for our group. Although the hotel had just recently opened and there were a few minor shortcomings, we completely understand that these things take time to smooth out, and we’re confident they’ll be addressed soon.

The real highlight was the staff—everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed every bit of our time there and would happily return...

We were extremely disappointed with the service at this wedding hall. The staff did not pay attention to the guests at all – they never came to check if anyone needed anything. At one point, they even stopped serving water altogether, despite the temperature being around 35°C. Our guests were left without anything to drink and felt neglected.

The buffet was also poorly managed. It took ages for the staff to refill the food, and by the time new trays arrived, many guests had already left their seats. We received a lot of negative feedback from our guests, and honestly, we can’t blame them. This venue was a big letdown and not suitable for a special occasion...

What a fantastic experience! Nature, trees and star class establishment. The staff were super nice and was willing to accomodate all my requests. The restaurant had mild flavored items too so if you do not like too spicy food, it is fine too. Service was super fast even though the cutlery arrived much later than the main food. My stay was short, but managed to have a small early morning walk within the property. The evening made the property look like it was a dreamland. Only wish would be if the amenities in the bathroom was re-installed in a logical way, the experience would be super. I am pretty certain that it would be filled with crowd right through...
