The Blue Water Hotel was designed by the famous architect Geoffrey Bawa, and his style can be admired both in the architecture and in the interior design. Being such a large property, in some areas you may notice a little humidity or wear, but this is part of the unique charm of Bawa’s work and it certainly does not take away from its beauty.|The hotel features a truly impressive and very large swimming pool. The food is excellent, especially at the Dragon Boat Restaurant, where the dining experience was outstanding.|One of the highlights is definitely the kindness and helpfulness of the staff: everyone is extremely polite, from the reception to the pool staff, and also the entertainment team. The hotel is very colonial, has a lot character and very beautiful, although it needs some TLC now and then. It overlooks the beautiful beach. I stayed a day for this place and I got bad experience with this place. The host scolded to me because I forgot to switch off the bathroom light while I went out in the evening. Which is totally unfair for me and felt badly. Room cleanliness is medium. But its worth for the money. So, I dont recommend this place...
