Booked this hotel given proximity to Pallekele Cricket Stadium - 1.1km walk away. Nice, spacious rooms, quiet location, delicious breakfasts, and the customer service cannot be faulted. ||||Note that it does seem to be a relatively new hotel, so there were a few minor issues, but nothing that was not rectified rapidly. Stayed at Hotel Lans for the second time after the 2017 Bradby Shield Kandy Leg (stayed there for the first time in 2016) and received an even warmer welcome and a great service as usual. The facility is not like a 5 star hotel but the service definitely is one of the best I have received. The owner whom I have spoken to but have never met is very supportive and understanding and the housekeeper and the manager both are very friendly, attentive and helpful. A nice, homely...

A great place for a quiet vacation in Kandy. If you want to get away from it all ( the hassle and bustle of city life) yet close to a busy town of Kundasala.
