I had an absolutely wonderful time at Karu's Art Hotel during my recent trip to Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was taken aback by the vibrant and unique atmosphere of the place. Each room, adorned with beautiful, local artwork, was a testament to the creative spirit of Hikkaduwa.

The staff at Karu's were nothing short of exceptional. They were warm, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I was treated with the utmost care and felt welcomed as if I were part of their family.

The hotel's location couldn't be more perfect. It's situated just a stone's throw away from the beautiful beaches of Hikkaduwa and close to local shops and restaurants, making everything easily accessible.

The food at Karu's was an authentic culinary delight, a testament to Sri Lankan cuisine. The breakfast spread was generous, and the traditional Sri Lankan dishes served for dinner were absolutely delicious.

Went there, booked a room and everything was ok until someone else arrived who also had booked the same room. The owner quickly lied to us that the AC is suddenly not working, trying to make us leave before the other person walked in. My boyfriend went to the room to check the AC and it worked. The owner followed him there and lied then something else I don't remember what.

Obviously the owner wanted to keep the other customer who had booked the room with a slightly better price. Not cool. Firstly we had waited for 15 mins for the owner to get there and finally we got lied straight...
