Kaya Wellness Village — Hotel in Sri Lanka

For this hotel manager, only the money cares, not the guest itself. Every mistake, this hotel have somebody else is guilty, just not the hotel or the manager (who is completly not suitable for this buisness, because therefore it needs honestly people!) First, what we didn't know, the beach is just for show. You can't go in the sea because the reef and there are some wires hidden in the sand. Especcially for our 2 year old daughter really dangerous, because it can injure her seriously.(See pictures). When we booked the Hotel, the description was completly wrong, in our booking showed up furnishing like a balcony, bathtube and so on, what we haven't got there. We said that to the receptionist, and we already could show him, that in our booking these furnishings occur. Nevertheless it was a big drama to get a room with balcony and it tooks over one day, to change the room, and this in case of that we have been the ONLY guests in this big hotel. It was already creepy, like a ghost hotel. The Location was hard to find, because nobody knows this hotel. We always had to navigate our Tuk Tuk drivers, and there are no restaurants, shops or supermarkets near by, you always need a Taxi to get outside. Also the pool bar (pictures) and all this things, never have been engaged. The answer of the manager: you just have to get out of the pool and search for the staff. It is also not possible to lie on the beach or beside the pool, because there nowhere sun ares, except you go downstairs. With the beautifully appointed rooms and the views over the ocean, this could be a real haven for a restful stay, even allowing for the location being on an unattractive road and away from being able to walk to all the great restaurants in Negombo. And for a moment, I was hopeful. But just a moment.|Having been shown to my ocean view room at well past check in time that was still being cleaned, they put me in the room next door. But that was without checking the toilet worked okay and that you could adjust the air con from full blast and full noise. 1.I had booked the resort for wedding Anniversary celebration, but the fact is they ruined my celebration, the restaurant staff are totally unprofessional and lacked quality in dealing with guest , 3 hours after the order , they themselves were confused about the food what we have ordered. There was no water on the table , including no one approached us also . Finally we had to leave the table with half the orders. The manager of the hotel also was unable to resolve the concerns , as he was busy in just chitchatting and always hiding away from guest. ||2. The quality of food is below average level , seriously below the price as it was quoted in their menu.||3.
