Kumbuk Tree House — Hotel in Sri Lanka

We were on a 8 day holiday and were trying different things . A tree house sounded like a good idea and the decision was oh so correct! A two room tree house with a quaint garden and a creek flowing, a very sweet man as the host smiling, running and making tea/ coffee. He made a breakfast with omelette toast ( srilankan flavours even in the omelette, yumm), juicy pineapple and bananas in a cute wicker basket for the yala safari at 5am! ||It rained and the sound of the rain on the roof and the sight of the creek and the greenery was just so peaceful. ||Not a luxurious stay, but then cant expect that from a treehouse, basic bathroom as expected. ||Would recommend for anyone happy to rough it out a bit, want a bit of an adventure and a need to meet...

Kumbuk tree house is the best tree house in Sri Lanka. Very neat and clean and nucely maintained.The natural beauty surrounding tge tree house is marvellous. A river is flowing under the tree house which will give you excellent feeling of nature. You will hear singing of lot of wild birds.The hosts are excelent in behaviour. I have stayed in KUMBUK TREE HOUSE for two nights .It was an amazing experience . In my opinion Kumbuk is the best tree house of Sri Lanka. The behavior of the owner and the manager was very good. They were always present to fulfill our need. They kept all the requests done by us.The rooms are very clean. The whole area was a mervellous natural beauty and maintained very nicely.
