Light Moon Villa — Hotel in Sri Lanka

I stayed at Light Moon Villa, in Ahangama for four nights during my solo trip, and honestly, it was such a great experience. The hosts, a lovely couple, were so welcoming, polite, and kind. They made sure I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay, which really meant a lot since I was traveling alone.

The place itself was super clean (which I absolutely loved!) and very peaceful. It’s not right in the middle of the busy area, so you really get that calm vibe, but at the same time the beach is just a short walk away, so the location was perfect for me.

I wanted a quiet spot to relax and unwind, and I definitely found it here. I felt completely safe, at ease, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The hosts even checked that I arrived safely, which was such a thoughtful touch. They were extremely supportive.

I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ahangama, whether solo, with friends, or family. It’s clean, peaceful, safe, and run by genuinely kind people.

P.S. Ahangama is one of those rare places that leaves its mark on your soul. I spent a few unforgettable days here, and the town’s beauty, safety, and warmth made every moment feel special.
