Little Villa guest — Hotel in Sri Lanka

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the family and we chatted over a cup of tea. On the following days, we were surprised by the hostess with a small breakfast, we cooked dinner together (which was the best we had until now in Sri Lanka) and continued to chat. We immediately felt at home. We think this place is very special and are sad to leave it again. We were happy every day when we woke up and were greeted by the family and their two cats. Very nice place, away from the busy loud main street. Family is very kind and nice people. For a bit extra they offered us breakfast. But they are building outside kitchen next to the room so soon you’ll be able to make food yourself if you wish, that is very convinient. Everything you need is max 10min away - sea, surf, store and few restaurants to choose from. Lake is not far if you want to have a boat ride...

We stayed in the room upstairs with a balcony. The space is very clean for local standard. The area is quiet, away from the traffic noise but not too far to walk to the main road and beach.
