Lokuge Grand Resort — Hotel in Sri Lanka

I don't recommend it. Worst experience ever.. The staff was very rude to us.. 😕 Very expensive too..

We ordered dinner at 7:00 p.m it wasn't ready even until 10:00 p.m.. within these 3 hours we had to shift to three different rooms as there was no water in our bathrooms and our AC wasn't working either.

When we were fed up with the room shifting and no food for 3 hours we decided to check out and find a better place.. When we informed them that we wanted to leave and we requested them to pack the food we ordered if it was ready Then they asked us to pay 15,000 for the room if we wanted to leave. When we tried to ask them why they were charging us that much, because we didn't use any of their utilities the aggressive staff used very harsh language and tried to hit us too. They did not let us leave the premises without paying the Rs. 15,000. As our food wasn't ready by that time we had to pay 11, 568 for the room. We will never go back...

This resort is located in sella kataragama road and had a nice view at the entrance. The place had a large land but not used wisely. Separate houses were there many were too old. We were given such a old house type 2 room and 1 bathroom anex with lots of ants and dim lights and broken bathroom equipments. No TV, no square charging points, full of mosquitoes and absolutely a bad place. We have paid an advance prior to coming but had to pay the rest before checkin and the service was too bad. They only focused on money. We spent the night there as we could not find other place on that 14th April. Not recommended at all if they give these type of annex to people. There was a swimming pool and we could not use it. Seems to be clean. But oy could access from a specific path which was far to our rooms. Even they had so many regulations stated that only once customers can use the pool. If used more than that they need to pay. That...

We stayed one night at this locationand this was the worst experience ever. We came here on a friend's recommendation but we will never come back. No soap, towels, blankets, toilet paper unless we request. They charge for the AC but increase the temperature to 31 in the middle of the night when everyone was asleep. The room AC remotes do not function. They have separate remotes that work, with them. When we complained, Mr. Lokuge himself came up with a lot of justifications and made it look like it was our fault that the AC remotes were not working 🤨 Sad to see people cheating their customers like this. We will never recommend this place...
