Mihisara Resort — Hotel in Sri Lanka

I usually visit Anuradhapura, but this was my first time staying at this hotel. I didn’t book it before because I thought it was a bit far from the main worship places, but I’m really glad I tried it this time! Even though it’s a little farther compared to some other resorts, it’s still very convenient if you’re traveling by your own vehicle.

The road leading to the hotel is absolutely beautiful and scenic. The place itself is peaceful, calm, and surrounded by nature. The welcome was lovely, and the staff were super friendly, supportive, and attentive throughout our stay.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable — not spotless, but still very clean and well-kept. The shower was great with good water pressure. They’re also building a pool, which I think will be a great addition once it’s ready.

What really stood out to me was the service. The staff kept the entrance open late at night and waited until we returned, unlike most hotels that close their gates by 10 or 11 p.m. When we asked about it, they said, “You can come anytime; we’ll wait for you.” That kind of hospitality really impressed me!

Overall, I loved the calm atmosphere and friendly service. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Anuradhapura. Thank you to the team for making our stay...
